Loving the Angle Sands series. Breck and Caits journey is fabulous, can’t wait to read Baby I’m yours

First, I have to say that I love Carrie Elks!! She's an amazing story teller, she just pulls you into her book and you never want to leave! This book was no exception!!I have loved all the Angel Sands books since I first read about Lucas and Ember, so I was excited to read about Lucas's little sister, Caitie, his best friend Breck, and go to his wedding to Ember!!Caitie has lived in New York since she left Angel Sands for college. It wasn't that she wanted to be away from her family, it was that she felt she needed to be away from the ocean. She had a terrifying experience in the ocean as a child and never fully recovered from it emotionally. But, she hid that little fact from her family. The only one who knows is Brecken Miller. The boy she's been in love with all her life and her brother's best friend.Breck has always been protective of Caitie, but not like an overbearing older brother. He truly cared about her and she was special to him. The last time he saw her was when he had to spend Christmas at her house just after his mother had died and while he was waiting for his father to get there from Boston. He was only 17 and devastated, lost, hurt, angry, etc. Caitie was 15 and he remembers her being so loving and caring toward him and his little brother. But, his mother's death and all the trama that went with it makes him hate Christmas so much that he never celebrates it.Now, it's been 13 years since they've seen each other and once they do - the sparks fly!!! And the reason is Lucas and Ember's wedding, which they happen to want to be 2 days before Christmas. This poses a problem for Breck, but he thinks he can handle it. After all, he's a strong man who has faced worse things in his life. Yeah, keep telling yourself that!!Caitie wins up becoming the wedding planner of sorts to help out her brother, who hasn't been able to get anything planned. While doing this, her and Breck become closer and get to know each other as adults. They are so amazing together, even if it does take them a little while to notice.There are some secondary characters that were amazing, and some not so much. LOVED Harper!!!! She was the best best friend anyone could ask for!! Loved her and Caitie's relationship and how she just fit in with everyone. Got to revisit with all the Angel Sands crew, which was great! Wasn't a fan of Rachel at all! Wasn't that she was a bad person, just a completely clueless woman! Breck was being nice to her but never lead her on to think that he wanted to date her, but she just kept pushing and trying to insert herself into his life. People like that just bother me. I also didn't like that Ember and Lucas kept trying to throw them together. Friends need to listen more closely to each other. But of course, Caitie's New York friends tried to do the same thing to her, but she handled it better then Breck did.I LOVED this book!!! I hated to see it end and I can't wait for the next one! I have to say that Caitie and Breck are my favorite Angel Sands couple, by far!!! They were friends first, supported each other, were there for each other when they needed each other the most, and their love just shone off the pages!!I highly recommend this book to EVERYONE, as well as the series!
