I am always a big fan of battery packs. I kept on my iPhone 6 plus and its predecessor as well. This battery charger is a beautiful gold color. Not the same color as my titanium S7 Edge – it is more of a red-hued color while the phone itself is a yellowish gold. The cutouts match exactly – so no problem there. I wanted to mention something that I LOVE about this charger as compared to my other. Instead of pulling apart into two separate pieces… this charge remains together and just slides out to a greater length. This is especially helpful as the case gets older and the top piece falls off more frequently (that was an everyday occurrence in my purse pocket pulling out my phone).As for the charging, it charges the phone up quickly. Granted, the S7 Edge battery lasts longer than my iPhone by far. But still, it’s good to have back up just in case. It is fine. I put it on my work phone and it adds a lot of extra size and weight which I was not expecting. In the past I have used other power banks and really like those as they did not add too much size and stayed streamlined which was enjoyable.I am a product reviewer

Only charges to 10-15% after a month of occasional use. My phone was at 13% so I turned the case on. Case said it was at 4/4; fully charged. Next morning the case battery was empty and the phone was at 28%. Now won't charge any higher than 2/4 (which only charges the phone for a few minutes before turning off).Total waste of money. Not even good as a plain case since it's so heavy.

So it's taken me a while to review this battery/case simply because it's not often that I need to charge my S7 Edge.This is a case so you drop your phone into it and it locks in place. It's got pass-throughs for all of the connections like USB and your headphone port. It also fits quite well, it's very snug. Just not that it does cause a lot of bulk to the - I mean a SIGNIFICANT amount. You are after all adding an additional battery - so that is to be expected.It has a button and some blue LED's on the back that can tell you A, when it's charging your phone (they blink) and B, the level of the battery. So you can choose to charge or not to - that's up to you to decide via the button on the back. It seems to add about one extra battery worth of power, so I estimate you’ll get about twice the battery life.There is a kick stand on the back of the case, but it’s a little flimsy and while it works, I’m not sure how long it will hold up.The case plastic also feels a little ‘hard’ to the touch. I don’t know how to put it, cheap perhaps? It and the kickstand are why I’m reducing the rating from 5 to 4 stars – the kickstand is flimsy, and the case feels very cheap in the hand. If you’re going to use it on a premium phone like the S7 Edge I would expect a little better plastic. Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t like the feel of it.All in all, you shouldn’t be using this every day – you should probably be using it when you’re phone is dead, and then taking it out when it’s fully charged. In that regard, this is very simple to use and doesn’t require having a cable running to another battery and carrying/holding them both - a significant easy of use factor with that regard.Now I did receive this at a discount (not free) in order for my honest review which I have provided here. first off, the fit and finish on this is great. It is less slick in your hand than the phone was without it. Phone clips in easily and holds securely. Adds some thickness as one would expect, but not so much that the already big pone becomes ungainly.Nice features- there is an on/off switch and a battery power indicator so you can tell how much juice you have, and don't have to find out when your phone dies that the battery is dead. Enough storage to add half a day of use to my phone. You do have to turn the battery on to charge your phone, even when plugged into a charger. This is nice, because you can charge the battery while your phone discharges if you choose.I did get this item at a discount in return for a review. As you can see from my reviews though, I calls em like I sees em. This is a great pickup for folks who are on the phone alot and use a lot of juice.

It came with very little direction. I have to take the phone out of the case for the case to charge, unless I am doing something wrong. It says the case will charge first but I can't figure out how to tell if the case is charging or not, It seems like when the phone is fully charged it stops charging and the case is not charged. Leaving fro vacation tomorrow and that is the reason I bought it so I am very disappointed.

I really like this battery backup in a case design. It keeps me in the music all day at work. It does make your phone considerably longer though. All and all though great product. I bought this item at a discount for a honest review
