Great product! I’ve ordered these a couple of times. Have always arrived on time and work better than expected. Easy to use (and reside). No worry about finding stud, item falling or ruining your wall. My daughter and I bought this mirror at Pottery Barn years ago. I’ve always loved it and it is a precious memory but it is very heavy. Once it’s up I don’t it is coming down until I take it down!

Hooks are tiny, the nails are really tiny and thin. I don’t think I dare use it to hang my big painting.

Just what I needed

I bought these heavy-duty picture hangers with high hopes and big plans. I had a beautiful, antique mirror from my grandmother that I’ve been meaning to hang in our hallway. It’s sturdy but well within the 100lbs weight these hooks claim to support. Well, after carefully marking and hammering the hangers into the wall, I gently hung the mirror. Not five minutes later—crack. I heard a sound that made my stomach drop. I ran to the hallway only to find the mirror on the floor, the frame cracked and the hangers ripped out of the wall. One of the hooks had completely bent, and the nails had barely penetrated the drywall. To say I was upset would be an understatement. This wasn’t just about a faulty product—it was about a family heirloom ruined by poor-quality hardware. I double-checked everything, thinking maybe I had installed them wrong, but I followed all the instructions to the letter. These are not heavy-duty. They’re barely duty at all. Maybe they’d be fine for a lightweight canvas or small clock, but if you’re hanging anything valuable, don’t risk it. I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but this time I felt like I needed to warn others. I wish I had trusted my instincts and gone with something more reputable. Lesson learned—don’t let these hangers be the weak link between your wall and your memories.
