Review: Good quality stainless steel bristle pool brush. Works way better than the nylon ones! - It's a good high quality brush. The steel bristles are not as stiff as you would think however it does brush way better than the white nylon ones. I bought this to help scrape off some of the algae in the pool and it worked good. One suggestion though is to include a sturdier and longer clip, that clips to the pole. The one that comes with it is a little short, so my brush fell off. Luckily I just transferred over my old white one from my old brush to this new one.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Anyone use this on a porcelain floor?**
A: The brush was used on a pool with small porcelain tiles along the edge. I believe it is too aggressive for a porcelain floor and would result in scratches.

**Q: Can this be used on fiberglass in ground pools?**
A: The bristles are wire so I would not use on a fiberglass pool.

**Q: is it harmful to the pebble tec finish in a gunite pool?**
A: We have a Polaris pool sweep the does 90% of the work for me but on the occasion to use this will brush I have seen no degradation of the Gunite surface with minimal use I would not recommend it for daily use

**Q: How long does the pole extend? My pool is 12' deep... will this be long enough to reach the bottom?**
A: The brush doesn't come with a pole. You buy the length pole you need separately. The brush has a little plastic gismo that clips into the little holes in the pole to attach it.

It's a good high quality brush. The steel bristles are not as stiff as you would think however it does brush way better than the white nylon ones. Worked well until it broke. The structural metal where it Ys from the pole to the brush just broke in two. I was using it a little rough, but literally just brushing. I don’t believe it ever lost any bristles though so that is good. Bought in Nov 2025, broke in May 2026.
