bareMinerals Stroke of Light Eye Brightener, Luminous 1, 0.18 Ounce

I'm one of the lucky girls whose genetics blessed me with lovely dark circles that leads people to say "you look tired" even after a solid week of good sleep, good hydration and a healthy diet. As such, I've tried a ton of products to conceal my dark circles. I've used powders, thick creamy concealers, thin concealers with layers, thin liquid concealers with powder, primers, and every technique I could research for application. I ordered this concealer expecting another disappointed and was really surprised at the performance. It's a medium coverage concealer. I use Bare Escentuals Prime Time primer first, then dab on this concealer and blend it from the outside in. I don't use a thick layer, just enough to take away the purple in my skin. Then I use Bare Escentuals foundation powder all over my face with light coverage. The combination works great. I don't have that overly concealed look, the makeup barely cracks where my 36yr old fine lines are starting, and the coverage prevents the "you look tired" or "are you feeling ok?" comments. Good job Bare Escentuals! The search is over. :-)

This product works great for highlighting above and below the eyebrow, in addition to using it for lightening the under eye and highlighting various facial features!

*Written as Nathan's wife lol;)I loved this product until it started causing contact dermatitis...red, itchy, unsightly patches near my eyebrow and under my eyes. Using process of elimination, I did unfortunately determine that it was indeed this product i.e. washing sheets/pillowcases, cleaning makeup brushes, not applying makeup at all and, ultimately, purchasing a brand new brightener...the patches came back almost immediately.Super disappointed and now looking for a new concealor that won't cause such irritation.

I was leery about looking too sparkly - not a problem. I am 50-something and don't like a heavily made up look, and this is just right for my very fair complexion. If I am going out in the evening I swipe a little bit more on, otherwise am content with how this lasts.

The one I received was .10 oz instead of .18 and the color was off, having a pinkish cast. I’ve purchased this item several times in store and online, this is the first time it’s been different. Returned.
