This is a great color for making the body of an "emotional support chicken" that is all the rage online. I got a pattern and wondered what color to make it. I paired it with a strand of varigated mohair yarn, used a #8 rather than a #7, and it looks fabulous. The chicken is not done yet, and I will be using a variety of colors on it, but this is the base color.

Gutes Garn, super zum verarbeiten

I chose Heartland national parks yarns for the March for Science on April 22. I've order 4 from the Heartland collection: Denali (pink), Joshua Tree (dark gold), Glacier Bay (dark turquoise) & Kings Canyon (dark evergreen). The color of Denali pink is pretty close to the photo, but I would say that it's a slight shade darker & cooler, so it's less salmon and a tad more maroon. Cream threads are spun into each strand to add a subtle heather appearance. Very pretty. I'm a beginner knitter, so to me, the quality is excellent. I am using size 10 knitting needles, and the yarn is holding up really well. I'm not noticing any shedding or unraveling. I am an intermediate crocheter, and I've worked with a lot of acrylic yarns. The quality of this Heartland collection is soft & durable to work with. I have not tried to launder any of the finished pieces, so I can't say how they'll do in the wash. Overall, I'm really happy with these beautiful yarns! :)
