this is one of the most charming cookbooks I’ve ever owned. Written with an easy-going, witty tone, definitely ideal for those of us that already know how to cook. A lot of delightful recipes in here with lots of substitutions. They are more ideas of dishes, which again, experience cooks will delight in. Or if you have a new beginning cook that has an experience cook to give them some guidance. I think this would be an excellent choice. I truly truly love this cookbook.

I love this book. I bought it for my husband because he mentioned seeing it somewhere. I read it more than he does (he does use it a lot!) Really nice photos and recipes, that are meant to be easy and delicious. NYT books are such a nice gift and read. This one in particular would be great for anyone!!
