CHANGED MY LIFE!!!!! (Also, tips for before/aftercare to reduce irritation!!!)
FINALLY!!! I have tried EVERY SINGLE hair removal method out there. I've tried everything from laser hair removal to creams to masks to just about every gadget on the market. Laser hair removal is great and all if you're someone who can constantly spend thousands of dollars--because let's face it--as much as they want to tell you that it's permanent--it isn't. It reduces it fairly well but if you don't keep up with it, it's not permanent. So of course, I had to opt for a cheaper alternative. I tried waxing and that was a disaster on my face. The next day I had disgusting pimples all over my face and some of my skin would rip off and it was always just so messy and frustrating for me. Epilating is simple, clean, not messy, and doesn't rip my skin off and make me break out like crazy. I tried creams and those burned my face literally leaving what looked like rug burns on my face. I tried threading, etc etc. You get the point. So after trying everything I just settled for shaving. Yup. Cheap. Quick. Easy. And left my face smooth for almost a day. I've had to shave my face for over 10 years and as embarrassing as it was and even though it left my skin irritated in certain areas, I really had no choice and just eventually accepted that this was a part of my routine. I always wanted to try an epilator but just couldn't narrow it down to the best one--up until now. If you're anything like me and someone who absolutely hates the fact that they have to deal with this issue every single day--then you really won't care how much pain this is (and it realy does get less painful over time I promise!!!) because I'm the happiest woman alive to know that this handy gadget is going to remove my hair from the root and keep my disgusting hair issue at bay for longer than a day!!! I will say that this thing HURTS LIKE HELL the first few times (I use it on my face, and yes, it works wonders on my face, much better than the ones that are designed for facial hair. Because let me be honest, I am not trying to remove peach fuzz that most women are so embarrassed about--I WISH I HAD PEACH FUZZ!!!--I am an Italian woman and my facial hair is dark and thick like my damn leg hair (I'm SO lucky! NOT.) So I wanted the best of the best. If it claimed to be a BODY epilator then you bet I was going to get it for my FACE that resembled BODY HAIR! UGH! SO GROSS. Whatever, I've accepted it now. Things could be worse.) I absolutely LOVE this product and I am the happiest woman in the world right now! I can't believe I waited this long to purchase this! And for this price too!? I am SO ECSTATIC like this is seriously changing my life and increasing my self esteem dramatically. I don't care how painful it is, I don't care that there is a ton of redness and bumpiness after using it, I don't care that I have to plan my day accordingly (like having to skip exercising for 2 days since sweat can bring in bacteria and cause irritation and pimples...or that I have to skip wearing make up and basically be anti social for 2 days to let the irritation die down) I JUST DON'T CARE because it is WELL WORTH IT!!! I want to make it VERY CLEAR that this gets better over time! I promise! The redness subsides the more you use it because if you haven't pulled out this much hair all at once before, your skin is going to react, and the more you do it, there will be less hair to pull. The reason for this is because unlike shaving, you are completely removing the hair follicle at the root and it takes much longer to protrude out of the skin than with just shaving, which is only cutting the part that is showing and not removing it. Also, PLEASE remember NOT to be discouraged for several weeks when there is hair still showing up! All hair has different life spans! So the ones you remove today, will NOT be the ones you remove tomorrow. Be patient. Stick with it. This has absolutely changed my life and I used it for about a month so far and I have absolutely loved it. I can't believe I don't have to shave my face every day anymore! I can't stress enough to BE PATIENT with this process. You will have to endure some painful redness and bumps for a little bit, but it contiues to get better and better over time. If you can get through the beginning stages (as with anything in life) than this will be life changing like it has been for me. I think I am on the last couple of stages of hair growth for all follicles (like I said, each individual follicle is on their own stage of growth) so once you can kind of get through that begining stage of getting all of them out, over time you won't have to do much maintenance anymore! For anyone who has been suffering for a while with embarrassing facial hair, I want to leave you with some amazing tips for your before and aftercare to help you reduce all that irritation and inflammation and ultimately shorten the amount of time it takes to heal. I have sensitive skin so if this stuff works on ME then it will definitely work on YOU! I'd like to point out that I do not use the cap on this when I am epilating. I have a feeling that this may be why some reviewers are saying that this thing doesn't work. This thing definitely doesn't work if you put that efficiency cap on it. The cap is optional to put on and it is more for people who haven't ever used this before and are a bit timid of having the blades so close to the skin. I don't use the cap and this thing works PERFECTLY. Before you epilate: 1. Plan to epilate at the end of your day when you know you won't be going back out and can have as much time to recover as possible, so your recovery period can be overnight during your sleep. For me, I can get away with doing it midday on a Sunday where I know I'll be relaxing at home and where I know I don't have to go to work the next day on Monday. 2. Make sure to wash your face and EXFOLIATE your skin. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP because it reduces the risk of ingrown hairs and those pesky little white heads! 3. Epilate with a DRY face. You can add BABY POWDER to your face so that the epilator catches ONLY the hair and NOT your skin. If your skin is even slightly damp, it will catch your skin. After you epilate (CRUCIAL STEPS!!!) After epilating, it is imperative that you take certain steps to reduce your risk of irritation, redness, and getting bumps. If you're like me, you totally will get all of that, but it's okay because it is well worth it and if you plan it well, it won't be that big of a deal and just be a necessary part of your routine, just like everyone else has certain routines for their care as well. However, I just started using this product so I'm sure the amount of irritation will die down, as I have read with many people's experiences with epilating in the long term. After I finish epilating, I gently wipe my skin with a damp, warm towel, just to get off any excess hair and really just clean up the area. Then I apply Tea Tree oil to the epilated areas to keep the now open pores clean. This combats bacteria very well and it doesn't sting. Next, I cut off a piece of my aloe vera leaf (which is nice and cool because it is stored in the fridge) and rub it on. THIS WORKS WONDERS! Aloe vera is the most amazing natural medicine for skin issues like burns, cuts, wounds, irritation, etc. It is amaaaaazing! You can get a whole leaf at Whole Foods or Sprouts or other natural grocery places. I prefer the leaf because I KNOW that it's 100% aloe! Then when that's about halfway dry, I put calamine lotion right on top of that. You can honesty skip the calamine lotion but I just wanted to take extra precaution. The aloe is the main star of the show here and if you don’t want something noticeable on your face, just stick with the aloe. I leave it on for as much time as I can. So some days it's just on all day. At least try 20-30 mins if you can't do that. Watch the magic happen! I also make sure to take a NSAID right after as well to help reduce the pain and any swelling. A NSAID is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory which is a fancy word for ibuprofen (Advil) or aspirin. The reason why you wouldn't want to opt for an acetaminophen (Tylenol) is because it isn't anti-inflammatory. It helps with reducing pain but it is not considered a NSAID and we want to reduce inflammation after the skin has been tugged on a lot during epilation and thus causes an inflammatory response of the skin. Although this seems like a lot to do and sounds as if you're getting pretty beaten up, I mean, epilation is pretty brutal on the skin so I know that I want to do the best that I can to reduce as much irritation as possible and this definitely does the trick. One thing to keep in mind is that all hair has different regeneration periods so don't be discouraged when the first time you do it and the next day there is some hair coming in--this is simply the other hairs that were not protruding enough and/or not protruding out of the skin yet. They are NOT the same hairs that you just epilated, they are the other ones that are on a different hair growing schedule. Just go back over these or tweeze them if there aren't a lot. Hope this helps some of you.

After a brief affair with this device, I went back to shaving
Are you a real woman? Have you suffered through your own hymenal rupture, birthed a child or suffered the stinging agony of being rejected by a man? Have you reflected with rue upon a dinner party you ruined through your own juvenile, drunken antics? Then you are ready for this product. It hurts, but it will enchant you for a short while because you want to feel tough. Actually it only hurts the first few times, but then you get used to it. I was excited to try a new method of hair removal. I don't know what my beef is with shaving. I mean, nothing is going to get you smooth like a razor blade. I also thread my eyebrows. You might say I enjoy maximizing my hair removal repertoire, as in my mind this equates with maximizing my womanliness. Your first time: So upon tibial touchdown, I felt an electrifying jolt of pain - much like that of a thousand hairs being torn from their follicles all at once. Enchanted, I continued to wave this magical device over my lower limbs, waiting to see if the pain might be any different if I kept on going, or if it was just going to continue on. It continued on. Soon, however, after several passes, my leg began to feel silky. Not shaved-silky mind you, but more than silky enough. I realized that meant I was done. I was pretty disappointed at the brevity of the encounter, so I promptly moved on to my armpits. The armpits were really fun to do. Did you know your armpit hairs are, like, an inch long? You will, once you use this product! Wow. This thing worked perfectly on my armpits. Better than the legs, and the legs were pretty good. I tentatively moved to the crotch area, but I'd just gotten out of the damn shower and I was too moist for there to be any traction. (Do not try this.) Later, I gave it a shot. Ouchhhhh. It results in a very smooth bikini area, no question. In fact, this product works better on stouter hair. So I moved up to the quintessential delicate area of the upper lip. Like the slap of a burning hot rubber band, my 'stache was GONE. It took several passes, ostensibly because I was a first-timer and my lip hair was unaccustomed to such insult. But you gotta grow up sometime, lip hair. Might as well be today. Still, again, it was not as sleek as a razor by any means. Easily one of the most exciting things about using this product is the sheer volume of hair that comes out of the thing, much like a lawn mower. I've never seen anything like it. And not only the hair comes out, mind you. Oh no. You get the entire hair bulb. I had this friend in high school you know - beautiful girl - and her prom dress was strapless. But she was a full-blooded Italian lass and heaven help her, you could see her dark armpit hair shadow every time she hoisted her arms to do the YMCA, in spite of the fact that it was clear she'd just shaved. This could have done her a world of good. So I will continue using this for pubic and armpit hair (nice long lasting results on the pubic area, somewhat less long lasting on armpits) but I won't be using anything but a razor for legs or stache. First it takes too long, second it is painful, and third you really don't get that sleekness you get from a fresh razor. Still, Recommended highly for how great a job it does on coarse hair. If you have coarse hair all over, this might be a great solution for you. Protip: after epilating, always disinfect. You will get pimples if you do not. Personally I recommend purel even for the pubic area. It burns of course, but you just ripped out the hair on your vagina. What do you care? Also there is a special sphere of heaven for women who can address those stout hairs on the labia area just above the clitoris with an epilator. I can do it. So can you. Actually, I don't recommend this any longer. The hairlessness doesn't seem to last that much longer, and I got tired of infected follicles. I did disinfect the rotating portion of the device regularly, after each use. But the bacteria must hide in all those cracks and crevices. I have returned to shaving. The results are instant, they don't result in pimples, and the effect is, overall, silkier. But heck, give it a try. Much like other aspects of passage into womanhood, first it hurts, then you get used to it, then you sort of like it, and then you get bored with it and try something else.

Baby Smooth Pits
I did a lot of reading into epilation before I bought the Philips Satinelle. I exfoliated and shaved several days before the first use (and exfoliated again minus shaving the day of first use.) The product came as described with an extra long cord, making it easy to move around the bathroom. This little baby is pretty loud, but my sleeping husband and toddler did not wake up in the next room. I successfully rid the hair from both arm pits in one sitting. From the reviews I read I have to say it was not nearly as painful as I thought. It stung a little afterwards but within 30 minutes my underarms had no red bumps and were so smooth! I did not use deodorant for a day to be on the safe side. I also did not have discomfort at work that evening. The following day I used deodorant and everything was fine. Not having shaving irritation is wonderful! I have had to shave my armpits TWICE in a day that's how fast the hair has come back. Once a day minimum. No more! It's been 3 days and my armpits are smooth as a baby's bottom literally! Onto legs: I have attached a picture for you to see. I followed all the recommended exfoliation procedure, went slow, and held it at a 90 degree angle and my legs had a lot of red bumps. It took much longer than anticipated to get both legs (knee down) complete and I still could not get all the hairs. I'm still learning so I won't let one time discourage me. Some say those bumps lasted for days and even weeks of irritation and leading to ingrown hairs but this is false for me. My legs did have the same light sting afterwards that they do after shaving with a razor. Used my moisturizer and the sting was calmed within 10 min. Thankfully the next morning my legs are almost fully cleared! However not all the hair is gone, so my legs aren't baby smooth. It's definitely a learned procedure. Skin comes in all types of sensitivity levels so I agree that this form of hair removal isn't for everyone. For lack of a better word it's pretty "rewarding" if it works!! Yay smooth arm pits!! Left most image in my picture shows my leg after I soothed it in cold water, you DO NOT use water while you are using this epilator! UPDATE: I love this thing. Did some more reading, hair and skin grows in rounds and layers so it's nearly impossible to get my legs completely smooth, however I used it several more days in a row and got my legs satisfactory. A week later and they still feel/look less than 1 day razor shaving stubble. THE RED BUMPS WERE ONLY A "FIRST TIME EPLIATING THAT AREA" IRRITATION. No red bumps on all subsequent rounds. Used on inner thighs near bikini area and have had way more success than a razor. After 24 hours red bumps gone and no shaving irritation. My armpits are still smooth! Not having shaving irritation or fast hair regrowth is amazing. Now that my skin is used to it I can actually sit down and touch up whatever needs it without having to waste my time and water shaving in the shower! Another plus: normally you would want to shave/be hair free when going to the beach or swimming so shaving right before the event makes sense? Until you get in the water and your legs are burning because you shaved either the day before or the day of? NOT ANY MORE! Once your legs are used to it the faster speed is no longer intimidating. Extremely happy with how this epilator has worked out in so many ways!

Working great, two years and counting!
I've had this since August, 2012. I got it mainly to reduce skin irritation that I got from shaving and to save a little money by not waxing. I've been using it regularly since then, it still works great, and it reduces skin irritation while saving me money. Here's the low-down: I'm assuming that if you're a person who has hair, you understand that yanking your hair out is not a pleasant experience. Is using this epilator more enjoyable after a glass of wine and NSAID of your choice, at least at first? Yes, but so are a lot of things in life, so I don't consider that a big mark against it. Furthermore, it starts hurting less and less the more you use it. I don't know if that's because my technique has improved or because my pain tolerance has, but either way, I no longer require the aforementioned glass of wine and NSAID. Doing my legs isn't my favorite sensation, but I would no longer characterize it as painful. My underarms are a bit more sensitive, but I can do them both in one sitting without any major discomfort. Beyond that, this thing does the job without irritating my skin. I threw out the guard I got with it within a month because it just isn't necessary, but it was nice at first because I was a little leery of it pinching me (it doesn't pinch, by the way. That was me being silly). I can do my legs and underarms in 20 minutes flat, and they stay smooth for a week. The epilator itself has never shown signs of breaking, slowing down, or becoming less effective. I do keep a pack of razors on hand for emergencies when I just don't have time to epilate, but I've used one pack in the past year and a half. I haven't had issues with ingrown hairs with this--if anything, I have far fewer ingrown hairs than when I shaved regularly. It does take a while to get all of your hair growing on the same schedule. I live in Florida and wear a lot of skirts, so if there's a special occasion coming up, I'll epilate or shave what stubble I have, which means I'll be yanking some hairs out when I epilate next and leaving others, but even with my lack of commitment I only have to epilate every week at the most. I've been going a week and a half without looking unduly stubbly, lately, and I'm hoping to be able to go two weeks before too very long. I've noticed the areas I regularly epilate seem to have slowly lost some hair, and the hair that remains is finer and lighter. I am very pale (despite living in Florida) and have dark body hair, so this development is a huge relief and lets me go longer between epilating. As to getting this thing to work maximally well, here are my tips: +Hold the epilator in one hand and hold the skin tight in the other. No, hold the skin tighter. Tighter! Like you mean it! Does it hurt to epilate? Yes? You're probably not holding the skin tight enough. +Take some NSAIDs and/or glass of wine the first few times. Do the epilating in patches--this gives you time to relax and troubleshoot your technique. +Technique is important and you will get better with time. This is a skill and is frustrating at first, just like shaving your legs was (I mean, I still can't shave my legs without nicking the back of my ankle or my knee). Give it a few tries before giving up. +Legs are the least painful areas to epilate, at least for me, followed by underarms. Bikini line is doable, but legitimately painful. I tend to get ingrowns there even if I epilate, so I've just cut my losses and opted for swim shorts. As I said, this product has led to less skin irritation, saved me money, and is still working after a year and a half. It costs less than getting your legs waxed and it does the job just as well with a little practice. I recommend it! ETA: I've had this product for two years and counting. I can go for two weeks (more, if I'm not wearing skirts every day) between epilating my legs or underarms, and I have reached the level of epilating expertise where I can do my bikini line with only a little discomfort. As I said, it takes skill, which takes practice, and also persistence. This gadget costs less than a single leg wax, has lasted two years, and is still going strong. Does it hurt a little at first? Yep. So does waxing (or shaving, if you're clumsy like me and accidentally cut your knees or ankles). Does it work, get easier/less painful with time, and last a while? Absolutely! I have and continue to recommend this product very highly!

This model works, but hurts
For it's price, I understand why so many have purchased this model. That is why I purchased this model; I wanted to know how epilators worked, felt and the results an epilator would give me. Please be ready for pain on your first use or even your use a year later (which is where I am currently; giving you my review a year after purchase). I mean so many of us are looking for a way to rid hair, but throw in the towel within the first use, because it hurts. You will get results! You will get hair free results by using an epilator, but I am not sugar coating it: this model will give you a lot of pain. I have another model I invested in and while it is not as painful, it leaves...many, many, many more hairs behind and it cost almost $40 more. This model will not leave hairs behind if you have the ability to keep moving it on your body. This model is loud! This is another reason so many are intimidated. It is not going to hurt you that bad! If you can handle a tattoo or even blood work, you can handle an epilator. The first time I went to put this model to my underarm, I wanted to cry because I thought it was going to hurt me too badly; all will be okay. I have never bled from an epilator, even though it is possible as each hair is being removed from the root. The worse case in epilation use, is you get the occasional ingrown hair. This model gives amazing results to underarms! It is a bit difficult to hold when using for underarm epilation, hence why I need to buy a new one (I was awkwardly using this epilator for may underarms and dropped it to the floor; it will turn on, but when I put it to my skin, it stops working). Anyway, no more black roots showing under my arms a year later. I am very please with underarm use in this epilator. Now for my legs, I just can't do it! I am a mom of 3. I have experience pain, but I just can't keep this epilator on my skin (on my legs). I try to focus on all the hairs it is ripping out and the results are great; I just find it too painful. I invested in another epilator, which is still not a perfect fit. While I have continued epilating for a full year now with the other brand on my legs, I have attempted to go back to this model time and time again, but I can only tolerate it a few seconds. To me the pain is comparable to bee stings. Epilating is worth the results if your tired of shaving and want a skin surface without hair and without dark hair roots (under the surface). You will find the hair coming back lighter in color and less and less coarse the longer you use it. Just give it time, as I am.

HOLY RAVIOLI!
Y'all. Friends. Hello. I am an esthetician and I am here today writing this review to tell you what a skin-saver this product is. [At the end of my review, I will be mentioning some tips and tricks to make using this thing easier and less painful. If you don't care about the actual review, skip to the end for the tips!] I am an esthetician. A skincare specialist. I am trained to wax the heck outta people's body hair. And not to toot my own horn, but I'm good at it. Personally, though, I have eczema and moderate plaque psoriasis. The friction of shaving and waxing can trigger severe itching and end with some gnarly scars. I bought this to see if it would cause less irritation to my skin. And holy cannoli, it did the trick. I have added two pictures here. One is of my left leg, two days after shaving. It is ANGRY and already has scabs from me scratching in my sleep (the only time I can't stop myself), not to mention already prickly like a dang cactus. The other is my right leg, two days after using this epilator. It is smooth. It is not itchy. No bumps, no scabs. This epilator is good at doing what it's meant to do. Yes, it hurts, but that is because it is rapidly --and effectively -- pulling hair from the root, damaging the follicle in the process. And that's good! Damage to the follicle improves the likelihood that the hair will grow back finer and finer each time, until it is barely noticeable or gone entirely! Essentially, this does the same thing that waxing does, just more slowly rather than all at once, and also without yanking up a layer of skin like waxing does. So, my gamble was worth it! This hurts, but only hurts the follicle. The nerves around the surface of my skin were angry for a bit after using this, but they calmed down relatively quickly, and because there was no friction to my skin, it didn't cause lasting irritation. Here are some tips to make the process of using this more effective, less painful, and easier: 1.) Cleanse skin before using. This pulls hair from the root, which means that you may get some bloody pores/follicles. That it just from the hair being yanked out. In waxing, we know that is a good thing because it means the follicle has been damaged, which means the hair is likely to grow back finer and more slowly. But it also means that bacteria can get into your body from that teeny tiny break in the skin. Definitely cleanse before and after using this. 2.) Work in small areas at a time, and try to hold your skin taught. Epilation of any kind will be more painful if you're yanking at your skin along with the hair. Hold the skin taught so that only the hair is being pulled at. 3.) If you feel "pinching," that is most likely hair being pulled, not skin being pinched. I tested this by removing the guard and moving the epilator over my skin while applying some pressure. Even without the guard and pushing down a bit, my skin did not catch, and I felt no pinching except for the sensation of hair being pulled. If the sensation is too much for you, work in smaller sections at a time. Do not work in long strips of skin. 4.) To calm down the nerves in your skin after using this epilator, apply gentle pressure to the surface of your skin using the palm of your hand. If you've ever gotten a proper wax done by a professional, you should know what I'm talking about. This can help "distract" the angry nerves by giving them another sensation to focus on. 5.) THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS YOU CAN DO!! Exfoliate well after hair removal. If you don't you can easily end up with painful, ingrown hairs. This is true of any form of epilation. 6.) After hair removal, smother your skin in aloe like it's frosting and you are a cupcake. Really. It helps.

Totally worth it. Have been using it for 6 months and I'll never go back to shaving.
First off, after arriving this sat on my bathroom counter for 3 days. Why? I was scared of it. I finally thought I would test it out. I wasn't even fully committed. I was wearing jeans that I rolled up a bit to see how badly it would hurt. Surprisingly, not as bad as I anticipated. I ended up changing into shorts and using it on both legs that night. Some spots hurt more than others (shins were bad, I have more thick hairs on this area). The back of my legs hardly hurt at all (fewer, thinner hairs back there). I missed some spots, but overall was really pleased with the results: - the look of my legs - mostly hairless, not "just shaved" smooth but they looked like I could go out in shorts without getting stares. - level of pain - not that bad. On particularlt painful spots I would do some then move away and come back later. - irritation - a little pink on my shins, but not bad at all. - speed of use - overall I was done with round 1 in 15 min. I bought this because my legs are uber sensitive. I shave, even with a new razor, with the grain, using whatever lotions and potions and I end up with red spots and generally itchy legs for a week. I find it hard to convince myself to shave. So I just don't shave. My boyfriend says he doesn't mind me looking like a sasquatch, but that is just because he is a beautiful human being. I waited to see how irritated they would be the next day and all the pink was gone. I did have to do touch ups, but I found I was moving too quickly the first time and was scared to touch the machine to my legs. Round 2 was relatively painless. I wore a skirt 4 days later and still showed off my relatively hairless legs to my lady coworkers. After a week there was no sign of ingrown hairs, another fear of mine. I did another minor touch up, which for me was just getting hair I missed the first time and this was by no fault of the machine. I have attempted bikini line and arm pits... These may take more time. I did about 1/3 of each arm pit in the first try yesterday. It hurt. Red spots where the hairs were pulled out. I didn't use deodorant yesterday, just coconut oil. Today the irritation is gone and I will likely try round 2 today. This means that it didn't hurt enough to turn me off of the idea completely. Complaints other reviewers had that almost made me not buy: 1. Broke after a few months - with these results, even if it did break after a few months, I would just buy it again. I hate shaving. My legs get irritated and they are just spikey and prickly after 2 days. This took hardly any time and 2 weeks later I still feel comfortable wearing shorts in public. 2. Loud - dude... No louder than my electric tooth brush and much quieter than a hair dryer. Not sure why this was a valid complaint. 3. Legs aren't as smooth as shaving - true, but trade offs are worth it. I can ignore my legs for over a week at a time and no more scratching itchy post shave legs. I do think my legs will get smoother with time due to growth cycles and I anticipate finer regrowth. Even if they don't, I'm completely satisfied currently. 4. Pain and irritation - varies by location. You don't have to "power through" and finish everything at once. It is a prolonged pain, not a quick, rip it off, type of waxing pain. All of my irritation was gone by the next day and I switched areas when one spot for too intense. 5. Ingrown hairs - this was more a product warning than a complaint. No issues here. I included a picture. A lazy one, I know, I didn't want to get up from the couch, but I prefer pictures on reviews I read. I haven't used it on my legs at all in about 5 days, they still look great. Update: I used this about once a week on underarms and legs. It doesn't get you as hairless as shaving, but the regrowth is so fine it is difficult to see. I make sure to touch up (about 3 min per leg) before wearing a skirt or shorts. Almost painless on my legs now, though the first time was rough it was worth it. The underarms still hurt, but it's manageable. This has been sturdy and reliable no complaints. I am tempted to buy one for every woman I know to free them from shaving. I am not paid for reviews. Do you need to torture your boyfriend when he's being a jerk? Well, this device is perfect!
If you have a grumpy pants man in your life this is the perfect thing to get him back into shape! When he comes home grumpy from work, whip this thing out and turn it on.. He will instantly turn his frown upside down and then offer to give you a back massage!! Honestly, though.. this thing hurts but the pain is totally worth it! Your legs come out soft after a few hours! Being a woman with dark, thick leg hairs is quite embarrassing. I shave and have stubble a few hours later! So when I was bored the other night browsing Amazon, I came across an "epilator". I had never heard of this fancy machine before. I have tried the No!No! before (HUGE waste of money, plus gross smelling!) so I was a little hesitant to make another hair remover purchase. I read the reviews, most of which said it was not painful and the price tag was fairly decent. I also reviewed some YouTube videos and the girls epilating their legs were smiling so I decided to give it a try. First off, Amazon sent the order to which someone stole my package! I spoke to a representative and they shipped a new one to me to my office. GREAT customer service on that part. Shipping was fast both times and because of the incident, I was able to grow out some hairs for epilation. Once I got it home, I plugged it in and turned it on. The sound is very loud! Like, I am afraid my neighbors were wondering what on earth I was doing. But who cares, they don't need to know I am epilating my legs :p. It looks very scary, as well. Because those little metal graspers move very fast and screech. I put it on my legs.. and OW! Oh my gosh does it hurt! Those YouTube girls must have been drunk or something!!! I had to move it in small circular motions. The pain honestly feels like a burning sensation. Once you get going though (and with many breaks and hesitations around the ankle) the pain starts to become numb. Probably because it hurts so bad. Because I was going so slow it took me half and hour to do both legs. Once I was done my legs has millions of red bumps all over them, some were bleeding! I rubbed some non-frangranced lotion on them and it felt soothing. I went to bed and in the morning the red bumps were gone and my legs looked AMAZING! They feel so soft from doing it. Some hairs were too short to get picked up from the epilator so I will be doing it again in a couple days. Honestly. I feel that it hurt so bad because I had so many hairs being pulled at once. This next time around it will not hurt as bad. Must buy for those pretty ladies with man hair! Also, I hope whoever stole my package was tortured by this thing! :)

Excelente producto

LIFE CHANGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never epilated before so I wasn't sure what to expect and I had my doubts. I have VERY thick course hair with thick roots - when I waxed in the past i ALWAYS bleed from the root.... and there is usually some hairs that are left behind because they were to short to grasp. When I shave, I am IMMEDIATELY left with a "5 o'clock" shadow type thing because the roots are SO thick... so basically, I had nothing to lose because I've always had that 5 o'clock shadow look on my legs, which isn't good.... This machine WORKED WONDERS ON MY THICK COURSE DARK GREEK HAIR!!!! I am shocked!!!!!!! I let me hair grow in for only a few days and decided to try out this product one evening (3 nights ago actually).... IT IS PAINFUL AS ALL HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT it is SO WORTH IT and eventually your body adapts enough to the pain that it is more than bareable! I used this on my entire legs... following the instructions... and it GRASPED even the smallest of hairs...... My legs are smooth and soft and NO DARK SHADOW!!!!!!!!!!! yes it is very painful, but it is very worth it (in my opinion).... it does a great job!!! i used it on my bikini area as well, that was also very painful, but I had the same amazing results!!!! 3 days later and I am just as soft as the first day and smooth and again no shadow (yet!)... I will NEVER shave again.... i hate that stubble look and never felt completely smooth... until now!!!! I know that I won't have to wait too long between uses, as this machine WILL grasp small hairs... much better than waxing (which I usually waited a few weeks before going in for a wax).... Next up... FULL BRAZILIAN.... fingers crossed!!! Oh, I had a small bruise on my knee cap... which I think is from this machine, but I am not sure, it is going away... I may have pressed a bit too hard! SO WORTH THE MONEY!!!! LIFE CHANGING!

Fácil de usar, cumple con su función, aunque si que duele.
Retira el bello de manera precisa y tarda en crecer ya que lo retira de raiz. Aunque es verdad que al principio duele mucho poco a poco la piel se acostumbra.
