High or low? A manly tone or Honda motorcycle beep?** A: I’d say it’s a single, fairly high tone. Significantly louder than the aqua signal horn I replaced. **Q: When mounting horizontally, should the side with electrical leads be facing up or down? Are there drain holes somewhere?** A: The leads should be facing up as if water does enter the horn it would help allow the water to escape. There aren't any drain holes. **Q: What is the amperage rating of this horn?** A: I think 5 **Q: Can this be mounted with it facing straight up or will it collect water?** A: The membrane between the horn and the silver cover plate might stop water from being splashed in, but I do not think it was intended to be water proof. In other words, I think if you placed it facing upwards, rain water would eventually seep through and fill the horn. ## Frequently Bought Together - FIAMM 5190512 Marine Horn with Stainless Steel Grill,1 Pack - Joinfworld Horn Button 12V 20A Heavy Duty 16MM Metal Horn Switch Speaker Blue LED Illumianted Stainless Steel Momentary Push Button Switch for Marine Boat Auto Air Train - Blue Sea Systems 5026 ST Blade Fuse Block 12 Circuit with Ground and Cover --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/28759546-fiamm-5190512-marine-horn-with-stainless-steel-grill-1-pack](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/28759546-fiamm-5190512-marine-horn-with-stainless-steel-grill-1-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
