Purchased for my 08 535i e60. Fit good, you have to cut the hose off of the crank case vent tube and reuse both ends. Other reviews state the hoses are too small didn’t do that step. The mount doesn’t fit e60 due to the brace being round not flat nothing a zip tie can’t fix. The straight hose will be too long for n54 so you will have to cut it once you get the can mounted.

Super simple install, watch some YouTube videos for install. Product quality seems great for the price. 10/10 recommend this catch can. Help decrease oil build up on those valves.

Je m'en serais voulu de payer plus cher pour des produits sur des boutiques spécialisées alors que dans les faits, il ne s'agit que d'un contenant de récupération d'huile. Le look est beau sous le capot, dans la mesure où vous l'installez adéquatement. Pour l'installation dans une BMW 335 (N54), selon l'endroit où vous souhaiter l'accrocher, j'ai trouvé les commentaires précédents fort utiles pour adapter la longueur des tuyaux, qui sont faciles à couper avec un couteau denté.

I was searching high and low for a catch can for my B58 Gen 1 that wasnt one of the high priced name brand ones available for 200$-500$I was looking for-solid internal baffling✅-large inlet and outlet ports to match oem sized air flow✅-size of ports to remain the same size internally to avoid any restrictions✅-drain valve at the bottom for easy maintenance❌I gave this catch can a shot and it is indeed a great option for the reasons listed above. It is indeed compatible with a 2017 540 B58 Gen1 with slight modifications to the hose ends that connect to the valve cover and turbo inlet.The only improvement that would make it absolutely outstanding would be a drain valve at the bottom for easy maintenance. Not a big deal, it’s easy enough to unscrew the bottom can portion to drain the captured liquid. I could always drill and tap threads to install a drain valve in the future. I also had some aluminum bar stock laying around to make a mounting bracket so I cut it up, drilled holes to mount the can, and painted it wrinkle black.An unexpected benefit was the hoses that it came with also worked with my set up after cutting some length off of it and cutting my oem hose up and using the factory connectors to fit like factory to my valve cover and turbo inlet.It looks good, was able to fit it like factory in a vehicle that this is not marketed for, and there does not appear to be any flow restrictions at this time. I have not had it long enough to comment on longevity but I assume the only potential issue in the future could be the hoses supplied or the o ring at the threads of the catch can. Time will tell with those.Overall this catch can is a quality piece especially when factoring in the price.

Cheap and simple catch can. I installed on a 2011 BMW 528i (F10 Chassis, N52B30 engine). A few things to be aware of:1) The mounting hardware they give you appears to be designed to attach to the diagonal sway bars inside a (I'm pretty sure) Exx chassis 3 series. If you're installing in any other vehicle, you will almost certainly need to fabricate a mount for yourself. The can isn't terribly heavy so it doesn't need to be anything crazy.2) The filter block on the inside is attached with two long M2 (I think) bolts. These weren't tightened very much from the factory so the first time I removed my can the filter block was just sitting at the bottom of the can. It is very easy to install this filter block in such a way that threading the can on becomes impossible, so if you're struggling to thread the can back on after tightening your filter block, this may be the culprit.3) Finally: The can is able to be threaded much further than the included O-ring can accommodate. Tightening the can all the way causes the O-ring to bulge out, so it is a bit of a balancing act between torquing the can on and not prolapsing the ring. Unsure if this is typical of catch cans, or it is caused by the threads being too long onto the body.All in all a great value buy and the hoses are perfect for retrofitting into a BMW N51/N52/N53/N54 (and probably others), just be mindful of the quirks and don't expect more than you pay for. I may update in the future as I evaluate performance.
