It is supposed to be the best in the marketplace. **Q: How do you remove and replace the batteries & what size batteries are required?** A: The grinder uses AA batteries. To replace them, you simply open the device by twisting the top counter-clockwise. The batteries are in the top section. **Q: How much does it hold?** A: I never measured the amount of peppercorns it holds but it lasts awhile if a small family is using it.
