Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was expecting something that felt much higher quality than this.. the price jump from other comparable products at around the £100 mark to the price of this should buy something that feels that much more robust and well put together shouldn’t it? To me this felt just as cheap and plasticky as the one it was replacing which cost about £90. Put it back in its box straight away and sent it back. Mine was from Carmarthen Cameras - they refunded me really quickly with no fuss - so a big thank you to them :)

It’s a good stand but the batteries just don’t last long. I literally had them charged for a while and then within 20 minutes the light turned off while I was filming 😡. If you want a stand for your phone then it’s great. You can fix the height and such no problem but the batteries just suck. They don’t last long at all. I would recommend getting a different light while maybe keeping the stand

Used for Skype and Zoom connection for major network appearances. BEST light found after trying many standards. Included batteries are another strong selling point. Can easily take this on the road, may with a single other light (or not) and have a very decent setup. I’ve used it with. Sony a6500 adapter to USB video, which provides good flexibility on using this great light in a variety of environments!

It delivers great light and gives you plenty of extras too! It is quick and easy to set up, and just what we needed for our streaming class. I really like that you can switch from AC to battery on the fly; and that it is SUPER EASY to adjust the light from the front or back (brightness as well as lighting temperature (from warm yellow to cool blue).A couple of caveats that pulled off a star: you'll want to upgrade the phone bracket to get one that is easier to use shooting vertical video (think Instagram Live); while it delivers the quality light, the over all setup feels "cheap" (particularly the ring light and the tri-pod). The ring light also just sort of sits on top of the tri-pod, with just a tension screw to hold it in place - and feels kind of flimsy.Still, for a tad under $200, you get a LOT of bang for the buck! And would I buy it again if I needed another ring light kit.

It got some juice in it it light and only flaw i got is battery grip could be better. Over that that colours are solid, temp are great.
