A: got these for my 2012 ram 3500. had to shim the front door like 5/8ths of a in with a plastic ring for the speakers to not hit the window actuator. the rears fit fine didn't have to do nothing.

**Q: Will these fit a 2001 wj jeep grand cherokee with infinity gold sound system?**
A: Should fit any 6x9 location, regardless of vehicle.  The important thing is to take the old one out and measure clearance when the window is down.  Or measure the depth of your factory ones or the ones you are replacing.  Many times aftermarket magnets are much bigger and the glass hits when rolling down the window.

So, I rarely write reviews. However in this case, I was so pleased with my purchase I decided to comment. I installed these speakers in a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. I received the speakers in excellent packaging. I ordered the wire harness for all 4 speakers (chrysler/dodge) to make it easier to install. For the most part installation was easy. For the rear doors these Kickers fit perfectly with no issues. However, the front doors are definitely a different animal. You will need spacers in order to accomodate these speakers since the magnet has is large and deep. I bought the 1/2 inch universal spacers for 6x9. It turns out that these spacers are a bit too thick for the door panel to fit perfectly back on in reassembly. I ordered the 1/4 inch spacer in the hopes this would fix the issue and it certainly did. This is probably the only thing you will need to look out for when installing. As for the sound, I paired these speakers to a Kenwood DPX503BT. All of this were upgrades to a stock system I had in it already. So, my judgement on sound quality comes from this perspective. So, as you can imagine, the sound quality is light years ahead of the stock system. For an ordinary user like me this was absolutely the perfect choice. Others may disagree but all in all, this is definitely a bargain for a basic upgrade.
