BulkSupplements.com L-Carnitine Base Powder - 250g (Pack of 1)

This L-Carnitine powder is exactly what I was looking for. It gives me a clean energy boost without jitters, and I’ve noticed improved endurance during workouts. The powder is fine, pure, and dissolves easily in water or juice. No fillers, just what you need. Great quality for the price, and the resealable bag keeps it fresh. Perfect for anyone focused on fat metabolism, performance, or overall health. Will definitely be buying again!

I am extremely pleased with my order of L-Carnitine. While all supplements react differently to different people, this one is definitely a keeper for me. I notice a marked improvement with energy and recovery when I exercise. I have absolutely no lag or soreness when I strength train. As I do with all supplements, I slowly increased the dose. Timing - I take it right before working out. If you read reviews before buying (which I love doing), you’ll expect a slight fish smell. It does have it but it is still completely palatable. I sprinkle true lime for good measure but I’ve taken it straight and it’s not difficult at all. I did listen to others and I moved it immediately into a jar with a moisture remover because I would rather not worry about humidity. I would consider this a must for many different reasons, especially when you research the benefits. If you are about to start working out from a hiatus or are pushing yourself harder than normal, it’s invaluable.

Amazing product!!! I went without for over a week and could tell a huge difference in so many aspects! I was sluggish, didn't have the normal strength during workouts, slow muscle recovery, the list goes on....I take 3/16 of a tsp up to 3xday. In the morning right before breakfast and 20 minutes before I workout, I take this with 1/4 tsp ALCAR & 1/8 tsp R-ALA. After I eat, I take 1/4 tsp NAC. After working out I eat 1 egg, 1 slice of turkey bacon, and a tiny amount of a Beach Body recovery drink with 3/4 tsp of BCAA's. All of these supps I get from Bulk Supplements. I prefer to make my own stack rather than buy a pill with who knows what in it. This way I know what I'm getting, I save $$$, and this bag will probably last me close to 4 months since the smaller bag lasted me at least 6 weeks!! I usually take this 7 days a week. I'm female, in my 40's, and overweight so this has really helped me to push harder. I believe it also helped to reduce my appetite and combined with the ALCAR improved my mental clarity. I also take it with Vitamin B12 sublingual. You have to be careful and be sure to get a non-synthetic vitamin. If it says Cyo...then it's synthetic. Hope this helps someone!! Oh and when you get the bag shake it first to make sure all the product goes below the ziploc area and then seal that before opening. I made the mistake of not doing this and the ziploc part wasn't sealed. So, I got it all over me.

There is some clinical evidence that L-carnitine supplementation increases mitochondrial biogenesis and exercise endurance. At 64 years of age, I take a morning dose of approx 80mg L- carnitine, approx 100mg alpha lipoic acid and approx 70 mg Korean ginseng in combination with 1 serving of coconut milk (~14g of dietary fat.) Removing any one of these results in nearly zero overall effectiveness, but taken in combination they seem to have a significant positive effect on mental clarity and physical stamina, two things at this point in my life in chronic short supply. So far I haven't felt any particular dependency on them; skipping them just brings back the diminished capacity I have learned to accept with age. My intent is to keep the dose low as outlined above. Long term effects are difficult to assess however. The regimen appears to me beneficial in the 18 months I've done it. For the last week the L-carnitine from Bulk Supplements appears to be at least as effective as my previous source, but measuring such a small amount at a time is challenging. Less volume because of its purity is a plus though, imho. That purity and less overall cost are why I purchased it. As the L-carnitine and ginseng I have on hand is eventually used up, I sincerely hope I can rely on this new source for them as well. The Bulk Supplements store on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/browse.html?me=A8MA32QEVO3GI) covers an amazing variety of products.

I really like that this brand is just the product. No fillers. Product seems perfectly fine. It doesn't have the best flavor but that's not a negative, it's just what it tastes like. If you add it to something like a smoothie you won't taste it at all, just if you put it in water. I don't mind it, just thought I'd throw that out there. I haven't experienced any negative side effects. I've been using it for 2 weeks so it's hard to tell just yet any positive effects. I'm taking it with myo-insositol. I do feel like my insulin insensitivity has gotten a little better over the past couple of weeks. I am not diabetic, and not recommending it for that extreme. I'm just saying I just don't feel hungry all the time (side effect of another medication I am currently on). I will probably order other products from them in the future. The biggest benefit to me is the lack of added crap. It's really hard to find supplements without fillers. The price is good as well.

I am very impressed with the effect of this brand of L-Carnitine. I purchased one kilogram of it and have been using it in the the gym for a week now. The effect is amazing. I feel a lot stronger with my workouts. As the product recommends, take a quarter teaspoon up to four times daily. I transferred some of the product to a smaller container which travels with me. It's best to take L-Carnitine on an empty stomach, so first thing in the morning, about an hour before lunch, then an hour before the gym and then another dose after the gym. Sometimes I've added that fourth daily serving in my water bottle as I workout or run. The product is tasteless as well, so placing the quarter teaspoon serving right onto your tongue is not bad at all. I highly recommend this product for it's quality, effect on your workouts/fat loss and cost. I have plenty for now, but will surely order again

PACKAGING: The zip bag the bulk powder comes in doesn't reseal correctly. I had to transfer the content of the package to another container. CONTENTS - MIXING/TASTE: It mixes well with water/protein/whatever liquid you want to mix it in. I usually mix it in with my protein shake after a workout. 5/5 - SMELL: I don't know what is producing the smell, but the powder smells terrible. I keep the container in a cool shaded area and it still smells bad. 1/5 - KEY QUESTION: Would I repurchase? - YES, price point for the supplement is great. If you just want that bulk deal, I would give my $$ to these guys. But when things are this cheap, there's always a drawback, ie (the smell). If there wasn't such a terrible smell ... I would rate this higher. BulkSupplements is like the bang for the buck GAINS.

As a diabetic I am more than happy with this product, I have read that some folks with diabetes take this product and if helps them with converting food to energy so I decided to try it out for myself. why? because although I take my medication i still feel a little bogged down and low energy after a meal and if your like me my meals are only about 70% healthy on average, I'm type2. first the product that looks like crystals smell fishy. I put 1/4 tsp into about 2oz of warm water just to allow it to mix better. when the L-Carnitine was 100% dissolved i stirred in about another 2oz of cool water and drank it. I did this immediately after my meal. no other vitamins or products taken just this one ( I was testing ) after about 15-25 minutes give or take, I noticed the feeling of energy, feeling very good. I felt like one should feel when your fresh (not tired) I like it. I didn't have the feeling of boggyness or draggyness some folks feel after a meal diabetics or not. I will definitely buy it again. check with your Doctor before your buy if your a diabetic!

Poor service
