You can do this too!! The battery in my S8+ swelled to the point that it caused the glass back to lift and crack. The case didn't fit well any more, nor did the battery properly charge or hold a charge. Couldn't afford a new phone, so decided to give this a go. The entire process of replacing the battery and back was incredibly easy and I am so thankful I did it!! Akthough the product is not glass, it is a great match to the original. With a case i don't know the difference.

It's a good fit, but follow the instructions or you'll have a finger print reader that doesn't stick, you may have to heat the glue and somehow pull the sensor with tape or another adhesive to the back glass if you don't. I thought it'd be easier if I attached the sensor then put the back glass on, nope.. Remove double sided tape place fingerprint sensor into position and make sure it sticks, then and only then remove the sticky tape backing before you reattach the sensors flex cable.

This item fit my S8+ perfectly.

Take your time. Clean off ALL original glue before attempting to position & secure the new back. Looks great - a good buy indeed.
