Very good
I really liked all the prompts and witty humorous commentary from the author, really good!

Absolutely awful!
Absolutely awful! I couldn’t find a single prompt I liked - if ‘prompt’ is the correct word to use here. You get a title (which is the so called prompt), then a load of waffle disguised as inspiration, and a couple of poems supposed to also inspire, but most were far too way out, in fact I despised so many of them I knew I had to return this book. Would not recommend AT ALL!!

An excellent tool box for poetry
I like it's simplicity, it's common sense, it's wit and it's language. I didn't and wouldn't expect it to write my poems for me, what I like too, is it challenges you to challenge yourself, daily, or not daily, and that in itself, is inspiration to jot something, anything down and build your own creative wonders.

A good place to start
I was recommended this book by a friend as a way to get back into writing. It has done just that. 3 weeks in and I have already written 11 poems, including the ones from the book. A fantastic book to get you going!

A well-structured, interesting premise : it may work for you
So, I haven't written ANY poems yet : not a success for me. Great idea, but I have to write when the muse takes me. I will persevere , maybe as the winter comes it will prompt some creativity!
