Does anyone know if the "Mexican Ebony" is actually Katalox?

Yes, it is Katalox. Grown on the Yucatan Penninsula in Mexico.

Could I get them in the measurement of 1.5in x 1.5in x 15in? What would be the price for something like that?

I am not the vendor. I purchased what I saw for my husbnad to make pen/pencil sets.

How can I get them in the following size 6 inches by 1 inch by 1 inch?

Hello- sorry, we cannot do custom sizes.

Does this wood have to be stabilized before turning?

No. They turn beautifully as they are.
