I'm one of those people that only writes a review if I've had a really awful or really amazing experience with the product, and let me tell you - even though I was very happy with the bottle itself, the customer service is what inspires me to write the review. I've bought three of these bottles now. Because I carry a water bottle with me everywhere, I'm really picky about my "everyday carry," if you will. It has to be: -lightweight -easy to open with one hand (for driving mostly) -absolutely leak proof so I can toss it anywhere -fit in cupholders -durable enough to withstand my clumsiness (being dropped repeatedly) -a wrist strap to minimize drops -easy to clean thoroughly with no spots for mold to hide This bottle checks off all of those boxes for me. It's the only bottle that I've found to meet my requirements. I replaced my first one when I broke it, and that only finally happened after I accidentally dropped it from a balcony 16 feet in the air onto asphalt. But I do have one complaint - eventually the plastic piece that seals the drinking spout starts to turn brown and mildewed to a point where it can't be cleaned off anymore. I've tried everything. But this doesn't happen for at least a year. This time it took a year and a half of 24/7 use. So I emailed customer support to see if I could order replacement parts. They told me that they do not currently sell replacement parts, but instead are sending me a replacement water bottle - the whole water bottle - a year and a half after purchase. That is an amazing commitment to customer happiness if I've ever seen one. I thought about looking around to see if I could find one better, but I think I'm a customer for life now. Honestly, there probably isn't a better water bottle anyway 👌

I got this because it fits into the cup holder on the treadmill at orange theory. Really I wish those cup holders were bigger so I could use the 32oz but whatever. I use the 32oz at home. Love this style bottle mainly because of water flow. You can tilt this up and slam down some water and go back about your business. Love the quick-open top. I do not want to unscrew a water bottle while I am at the gym. I don’t even want to unscrew my water bottle while I am sitting on the couch. I want to push a button, get my gosh darn water, then close the lid and keep doing something awesome (lol). This thing is definitely leak proof (provided you have those little silicon disc things in place) (Also don’t throw the extras out. They will not take up much room in your junk drawer. You will definitely need those when you wife finds one, says hmm what’s this, then throws it in the trash ugh.) The locking feature is a little prone to breaking. I don’t use it much anyway so whatever. The top is not fragile but will also only handle a few more drops than your iPhone. Don’t let this stop you. Benefits vastly outweigh this. The paint/coating will start to come off from regular dishwasher usage over the course of about a year and half slash two years or so. But they warn you so that’s on us, not on them. I find the bottle to be cleaner from washing in the sink with a brush anyway. Great little water bottle. Get it.

UPDATE 5/30/2018 So some sad news, my Wife's Embrava bottle broke when she dropped it on some cement in our garage. She has had the bottle for almost 2 years and the lid no longer opens magically like mine. I contacted Embrava and what do you know they treat me like a King and said they would send us a brand new water bottle. That is it, for every more, from this day forth I will only purchase and use Embrava products!!!! WOW!! LOVE YA GUYS!! P.S. My bottle is still a blast to use and it flips open still very magical. I tell all my friends all the time to get one!! P.S.S My Wife couldn't be happier so all is right in my world!!!! November 19, 2015 I write reviews so others will get a good over view of what they are getting. At the end of the day your buying a water bottle that is possibly over priced. It does just like any other water bottle does, holds liquid, has a lid and has a spout that you can drink from. Does it exceed all my wildly ideas of what a water bottle should be? I am not sure, it's does have a great form factor also the bottle has some type of textured surface which is nice in my hand, not necessarily slip proof but a light texture so it doesn't go flying out of my hand when I grasp it. The lid clicks into place and has a button you can press and that flips open the lid with amazing speed. Also it has a locking latch to keep others away from your button, I mean lets face it I paid $19.95 for this bottle so I don't think anyone else should enjoy what I am considering the coolest aspect of this water bottle. Lets see what else....the lids rim is covered in a rubber material which allows you to grip the top and screw and unscrew it with ease so that was well though out. There is some numbers on the side of the water bottle to let you know you drank liquid. There is also a hand strap that is on the side of the bottle. I suppose its handy, however the only use I see is allowing me to swing the water bottle around like a battle axe in case some one is trying to push the magic button on the lid. The only other thing is the arrival of the product. It felt like it was specially for me welcoming me to the Embrava family. They sent me a few emails to thank me for my purchase and also asked for a review. They said they would do a dance in my name for this little review. So I am expecting this little dance to be done or this review is really all for nothing. Short of that I feel it was a solid purchase. I figure if I added up all my other water bottle purchase that leak, that rubber spout cracked or just broke from a drop I could have bought maybe 10 of these. At the end of the day it may not last forever but for right now it feels good, and hell I feel like Quick Draw McGraw when I push the button to open the lid, if nothing else that aspect of the bottle truly rocks and doesn't get old.

I waited a bit before I made my review to test it out in various situations. AT THE OFFICE - The small size makes it very easy to fit into a medium/large bag. However, should you not want to place it inside a bag, you can wrap it around your wrist and get compliments from everyone about how sleek it looks. The bottle so far is not leaking, which makes me feel confident in placing it inside a bag. The one-click function is exactly what I needed as I was getting annoyed with my other water bottle that required me to turn a cap. Additionally, the graphic design on this bottle along with the slogan is quite inspirational. I've actually been hydrating more often due to this efficient and lovely bottle. AT THE GYM - Love the size, wrist strap, and small mouth of the bottle. I was looking for a water bottle that had a small mouth, but no straw, and this is perfect. When I'm on a bike, running on the stairs, or just simply walking from place to place, I don't fear accidentally spilling water all over my face and shirt just to get a sip. The wrist strap also helps me not to drop this bottle during activity. The fast-pouring spout is also a nice detail. This is something I was concerned about since the mouth is small, but it works great. CLEANING THE BOTTLE - Easy to clean; I simply hand wash the bottle by rinsing with water and soap, then hand drying or leaving the bottle open sitting out to air dry. The silicone plug has not dislodged itself in any way, but this bottle is only a week or so old now. I haven't put any other beverage types into the bottle yet (carbonated, soda, juice, coffee, etc.), but so far, I'm pleased.

This bottle is close to being the best, but two thing keep it from getting 5 stars from me. The biggest issue I have with this bottle is that it is advertised as an easy one hand solution. However, the cap hinge design leaves the cap vulnerable to sway and tilting from the center. When closing the cap with one had, your finger naturally pushes the cap away and it takes more control to click it shut. With that, it makes the hinge feel a bit flimsy. The cap and hinge could benefit from a little stronger of a design (a track, or tighter connection). The second issue I have really would not keep it from getting 5 stars if it was my only gripe. The strap that is connected does not really match the bottle well enough. The bottle has multiples shades of gray but the strap is a bright white and black stripe / zigzag design. It would have looked nicer if the strap matched the silver writing on the bottle or the dark gray of the cap. Other than that the bottle is quite nice. It has a soft finish and is comfortable to to hold. Water flow is great. Like i said before, if that cap and hinge were a bit sturdier it would have gotten 5 stars.

I was looking for a bottle to carry in my backpack to class and also to put in the car. Here are the things I've noticed so far: PROS: Compact (18oz is tad bit taller than a plastic water bottle, while still having the same girth); the exterior has a rubbery-ish coating that does not scratch or sweat (THIS IS SUCH AN AMAZING FEATURE, because certain plastics like Tritan scratches easily and hoard dirt in those scratches); the mouthpiece and the rubber seal is made of high quality plastic that did not mold or smell even after being used with morning breath and coffee breath (usually, the mouthpieces will start developing a weird smell and the sealant will start having black spots--if you have a Contigo, you'll know what I mean); the wide neck makes cleaning the inside such a breeze; the design has two air holes in the lid: one is the mouthpiece and the other is to allow water to flow out quicker or induce better air flow (this means that I don't have to break my neck trying to tilt the bottle all the way back just to get a sip). CONS: Can we get rid of the wrist strap, or at least make it removable?? It's a pain in the butt to wash these and wait for them to dry. They also get so dirty (because it's weaved fabric). Please also make a different logo or color. My friends keep asking me if I'm sipping from a Uterine bottle. One last thing is having the lid depend on sturdier springs to pop it open and keep it propped open. TL;DR: Great bottle with well-thought out specs. I would buy it again, but I'm hoping for Embrava to come out with a second and improved model in the future to address all of the small cons in this first design.

It seemed easy enough to head to my local chain store and pick up a water bottle, but after looking in several stores, I wasn't able to find what I wanted. With travel in mind, I wanted a slim, straight-sided bottle that was lightweight, attractive and leak-proof, with a carry strap and one-handed drink spout. I had a preference for a black, charcoal, or gray color, and I wanted a commuter cup for hot drinks that would match. It took a bit of searching before I found this water bottle, and it fits the bill perfectly. It is very nice looking and has a nice feeling in your hand. It is ultra-light yet durable. I've been using it for a month and never had a leak and the one-handed operation works perfectly. BONUS: The top locks to prevent accidental opening. BONUS! BONUS! This water bottle also holds hot liquids up to 204 degrees so I only need one bottle. Though not a deal buster for me, the bottle is not insulated and the bottle gets as hot as the liquid you put in it. Aside from insulating the bottle, which would add weight and bulk, a permanent sleeve would be awesome. I would have said 4 1/2 stars because of that issue. I haven't used the bottle with a lot of ice in my drink so I don't know if it sweats. Some reviewers commented on that issue. I'll post an update after I try it. I more than impressed with this bottle, and so is everyone who sees it. One last note: I didn't notice before I bought it, but the bottle has the Embrava slogan printed on it. "Fortune favors the brave." Love it!

I LOVE this water bottle and it's the best water bottle I have to date. I was looking for a water bottle that I can carry with me everywhere I go (in my purse, backpack for hiking, travel etc). and this was perfect! I love this size because it carries enough water to sustain me for my activity or part of the day (and I just refill when I need to), but not so big that if I get close to finishing, I'll regret carrying such a big bottle to take up space in my bag. I love the closure that covers the lip/drinking part so I don't have to worry about dirt or dust, and that it has a lock so when it's in my bag, I don't have to worry about it bumping into something popping open, then spilling all over my bag. I also love the strap. The strap allows me to carry it to my meetings and literally anywhere I go. This is a simple design that has it all! Not to mention, the material and overall texture makes it smooth and easy to carry in the hand. I love it and have bought the bigger size for other people as gifts. The feedback I've received was nothing but positive! I JUST lost mine last night at the gym and I feel like something is missing..... without hesitation, I am back and have another one in my cart ready to go!

Habe diese Trinkflasche meinem 6jährigen Sohn zur Einschulung gekauft. Er nutzt sie jeden Tag sehr gerne. Das Produkt ist sehr zum empfehlen. Jederzeit würde ich sie wieder kaufen. Selbst Kohlensäurehaltige Getränke können in dieser Flasche bedenkenlos mitgegeben werden. Was mir wichtig war, dass die Flasche in der Tasche sich nicht einfach aus heiterem Himmel öffnen kann. Das gute an dieser Flasche, sie hat einen doppelten Verschluss und der hält total dicht. Was mir bei einigen Flaschen aufgefallen war und auch gestört hat, dass das Mundstück immer zu gross war oder dann so blöde Röhrchen im innenleben haben, die man nicht putzen kann und unhygienisch sind. Bei dieser Flasche hat das Mundstück eine angenehme Grösse, die nicht nur für Kindermunde geeignet sind sondern auch für Erwachsene.

Fantastic bottle, I have used it everyday for the past week. It is small enough to carry with me to work or throw in my gym bag but still holds plenty of fluid . There is no plastic taste from the bottle and flavours do not linger in the bottle. The bottle feels durable and well made and has a nice frosted finish on the outside with a tasteful Rams head logo and comes complete with a handy holding strap. The lid is well made and hasn't leaked on me so far, it can be opened with hand and there is a useful safety catch which can be engaged to prevent accidental opening. The flow from the bottle is good and allows you to take proper gulps for when you are really thirsty! Although this bottle is more expensive than others on the market it is well worth it!

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer kleinen Trinkflasche, die ich sowohl für den Sport, als auch für unterwegs benutzen kann. Ich besitze bereits zwei größere Flaschen (1000ml, 1500 ml) mit dem gleichen Design, im speziellem dem gleichen Verschluss, sodass ich hier wusste, was ich kaufe. Im Vergleich zu anderen Flaschen der gleichen Größe hier die Dinge, die dieses Produkt in meinen Augen auszeichnen: -Verschluss -seitliche Gummierung des Deckels -Trageband -Optik Der Preis schien mir ursprünglich recht hoch, aber angesichts der Qualität des Produkts halte ich ihn für absolut gerechtfertigt. Hiermit möchte ich eine klare Kaufempfehlung aussprechen!
