A: My daughter who is a 10th grader carried a lots of stuff in it plus a laptop.  Around 30-40 lbs depends on the size of thing u put in it.

A: Yes

**Q: Is the bag washer and dryer safe?**
A: I do not know...if you wash a small section by hand and if that works ....  I wouldn't put it in the washing machine.  Are there any directions for care in the bag?  I wish I could have been more helpful..

A: It fits a lot of stuff / books it has several compartments
