8 year old daughter is using it for grade 3. It is holding up really well. I like that it has many compartments. All the zippers slide well. Decent padding in the straps. She can fit her lunch bag, snow pants, toque/mitts in the main compartment. She can fit books and other accessories in the others. She’s had it so far Sep-Jan and no visible fraying/damage other than the mesh on the water bottle side pockets has come out on one side but still holds a bottle. She is hard on her bag, rides the bus, the dog steps on it in the car, the bag is really taking a beating and you wouldn’t really know. Absolutely recommend this one.

I bought 2 of these, in both shades of pink. I found a list of the best backpacks, & this was #2, & the only option that I considered a good price. I really did not want to spend $50 on a single backpack, which is how much every other backpack on the list was, at the bare minimum. These backpacks are extremely spacious, they have several different enclosures that can expand. But, most importantly, the straps are extremely well made, adjustable, & durable. To put it in perspective, one backpack is for my 5-year-old, who is small for her age. The other backpack is for my 9-year-old, who is 5’2” & weighs 100 lbs. I was able to adjust both sets of straps to properly fit both children. The material is also thick & well made. My older daughter went through 4 different backpacks last school year. Her first was an extremely overpriced Pusheen backpack, & the zipper broke within a week. Another backpack was a Hershel, & the straps were made of the same thin cloth that stretched & made the backpack uncomfortable to wear, putting unnecessary weight on the shoulders. I am super happy with both of these.

Decent bag for the price. Bought for my 11 year old.
