I purchased this hot comb to touch up my roots and edges after I wash and air dry my hair. The hot comb has three levels of heat settings. I used the first one (which is about 160 degrees, read the instructions and details for the exact temp settings) to quickly press my hair after washing, conditioning and moisturizing my hair. It heated up quickly and pressed my roots really well. There was no smoke or burnt smell. It was hot enough to straighten my roots and hot enough to burn you so be careful. The hot comb is easy to use, didn't take long to touch up my hair and the price point is good. I would purchase this product again. Although, I can't say how this electric hot comb would work on natural African American hair that's been detangled first but I think this hot comb is worth trying out. If it's not enough to press out natural hair, get a refund or a flat iron. (FYI: I only used it on my roots because my hair is relaxed and I have an undercut so my hair is only long on the top :)

for the price this is awesome. the clips are cheap but other than that it gets very hot. overall function is great too. super easy use. solid and compatible with any hair texture for sure. my hair was bone straight! the packaging was also very cute

It doesn't get real hot, I tried to do a return and silly me went over the date so I got stuck with the thing, gave it to my 12yo cousin lol.

This was a gift for an aspiring beardsman. I saw those fancy beard kits that came with a hot comb, oils and balms. But the reviews all favored the comb and not the other items. I decided to buy one separate and get a good oil kit.He really likes how straight his beard gets with this and a combination of the oil kit I got him. The only thing he does not like is how hot the comb gets. From the time He plugs it in on the first setting to when he’s done using it , it’s really hot.But for the price and use, it’s practical. The only thing I would have done different is to take it out of the box and making my own beard kit because the box looks girly and at first he thought the gift wasn’t for him. But when he realized what it was for, he jumped right to use it.I would recommend a purchase.

O anúncio informa o pente elétrico, 02 prendedores, pente separador e case para guardar o pente. Chegou apenas o pente elétrico. A caixa amassada, parece que já foi aberta, envolvida com uma fita adesiva amarela, estranho, parecendo usado. Não recomendo a compra. Ficarei com o pente pq está funcionando e não vale o desgaste da devolução. Não é confiável.

Chegou com um pouco de atraso,fiz o teste,não esquenta tanto quando uma chapinha boa,mais vai atender a minha necessidade,meu cabelo e bem curto,acima da orelha,e ondulado.Pela temperatura que chegou depois de uns 10mnts esquentando acredito que cabelos cacheado tenham dificuldades em alisar .No meu que é ondulado demorou um pouco para deixar liso,ele esquente por completo até os dentes ,tem que ter um pouco de cuidado para não queimar o couro cabeludo,e proteger os fios com protetor térmico sempre. Ele é bem leve e fácil de usar ,tem botão de temperatura,3 opções de temperatura.
