CELESTRON Ultima Edge - 10mm Flat Field Eyepiece - 1.25"

I'm pleased with the field of view and sharpness of this eyepiece. It is solidly built with good eye relief. I like the feel of the knurled focus ring. Well worth the modest price.

This eyepiece is a permanent installation in my “telescope tools” as it time and time again proves itself to be a high quality product. I’m able to get tack sharp stars to the edges and beautiful views of the planets with it in my dob.

These eyepieces has some difficulties on the external 5 to 10 degrees when used on a fast telescope at f4.5 but very good image at f5 and +, especially for there small size because I chose them for binoviewing and for this function they are excellent. Very good value for money.

Love these Products! I have this and also the 18mm Ultima Edge. My favorite eyepieces at this time. Very nice and clear views even in a moderate light polished area. I will definitely recommend this product to any amateur or even beginner astronomer. Worth every penny!

Sharp eyepiece in my F/5 scope. Excellent anti-reflection coatings. Works well for eyeglass wearers.

Wonderful field of view and great eye relief. I use this eyepiece as my go to lens for most of my Lunt 40mm solar telescope viewing episodes and am pleased that I can easily see fine details of the sun’s prominences and surface filaments.

This is a very nice eyepiece. I use it in a 10 inch Apertura reflector for my wide field eyepiece and as a finder eyepiece. It is bright and sharp with excellent eye relief. My other eyepieces for this scope are Televue and this eyepiece holds it own with the others.

Keep in mind that this is a similar eyepiece that APM have. It makes viewing much more pleasant than the stock 30mm GSO eyepiece that came with the AD12 dob.There’s significant reduction in coma but at the last 15% of the outer area, there’s slight coma but it’s only noticeable if you use a camera or really paid attention.This is my final eyepiece for the 2” set. I have the 20mm XWA and now this guy's. It’s practically love at first sight for me.Do I recommend it? If and only if you’re going to upgrade to it from the original eyepiece. If you’re looking for the best, move on.What I don’t like? The contrast isn’t as good as I’d expect from what I read. My 10mm Delos is far better in contrast but there is a higher price comparison.Attached is a photo taken from my AD12 and an iPhone 13 pro with this newly bought eyepiece. It’s edited via phone app with a 5sec exposure.
