For several years I have used various brands of suction hooks to hang bamboo blinds in my sun-porch. I have three walls with sliding windows/door, and above each is a glass transom. I do not want to drill holes info the metal framework of the porch to use the hanging hooks that come with the blinds. Overall, these work the best, especially in this hot and humid weather. The additional advantage of these is that I can hang the small, triangular metal hanging "loop", which is on the blinds' too support bar, directly onto the hook. Other suction hooks tend to have much wider hooks, for which I need to tie string loops onto in order to hang them - which can make for an uneven top-line. Update: August - I've been using these for several weeks now and they are perfect for hanging my bamboo blinds. I do believe they work best on clean glass, and I inspect each to make sure the suction pad is clean. We've had a terrible heat wave, but the hooks have held well. I have ordered more to complete my sunporch.
