I bought this siphon pump to drain stale fuel out of a classic car project I’m currently restoring, and it worked like a charm.Pros:Quick Prime: Only took 2–3 manual pumps to start a steady, self-sustaining flow into my gas can.Fits Older Tanks: The intake hose was rigid enough to push past the fuel filler neck without coiling up, but flexible enough to reach the bottom of the tank.No Mess: No fuel spilled on the car's original paint or the ground.Great Value: Inexpensive construction, but more than durable enough for occasional garage projects.Cons:Hose Stiffness: The hose is a little stiff and wants to maintain its rolled up shape, so take your time straightening it out before insertion.Verdict:If you're working on old vehicles, lawn equipment, or just need to drain a tank safely, this tool is a no-brainer. It saved me from dropping a half-full gas tank manually or mouthfuls of gasoline from old-school siphoning. Highly recommended!

First off this says Siphon pump but it will pump fluid uphill which is how I used it. I think it may be called a siphon because the fluid may run faster / easier downhill if the outlet is below the inlet but it works fine either way.The hydraulic fluid inlet on the typhoon terror XVIII excavator is at the far side of the operator cabin below a little metal door and is nearly impossible to reach and poor in fluid without spilling. This pump worked very well to transfer the fluid. I over filled a little and had to reverse and pump some back out and it worked for that too. Strongly recommend. The Diesel fuel is right next to the hydraulic fluid and I ended up spending 5 times as much for a DC powered pump for that and after using both I think I would have been better off just buying an extra one of these. Your hand can get a little tired when transferring a lot of fluid but this one is so nice and small that it is just more convenient and a lot easier to keep clean.My only real complaint is the the outlet hose should be about 3 foot longer. It would also be nicer if they included a zip close bag to hold it once contaminated with oil or fuel.

Simple but effective

For being so affordable I was truly surprised with how well this works. I was willing to tolerate a lot since I only need to use this 3-4 times a year but it works, it works well, and is fit for purpose.

I just received this and already put it to use. It worked very good. It is easy to get the flow started with the squeeze bulb. There was also 2 tubing clamps and a brass coupling included. This seems to be a high quality product. You will not be disappointed.

When it did work it was slow but at least did get some watermoved it just took it hours. Then when I went to try and continuously squeeze the bulb it would stop inflating and just stay flattened. A waste of 7$

Siphon worked fine but the brass fitting slipped out of the tube despite the little hose clamp and now it resides in the gas tank. Should be fine 🙂

This siphon works perfectly for transferring fluid between a vehicle and an auxiliary tank. It flowed pretty quickly without any leaks. It appears to be well built it should have excellent durability. It was much better quality than I expected at its price.

Perfect and fast delivery

Bought this mostly for emptying the snow blower gas tank at the end of each season. Have also used it on the lawn mower. It's easy to use and empties the tanks pretty well. No gas on your hands, no spills or leaks. You just have to move the end around inside the tank you are trying to empty a bit to make sure you suck the gas out of any low spots. The pump is easy to squeeze and it does not take much effort to use.

Very good quality. Purchased 2. One to drain gas from lawnmower and 1 for water.
