Great idea
Great invention! To me this is much better than other door stops! Slips on the hinge pin and done. Prevents door from hitting against the wall. Great investment! You basically do not notice it.

Clever design, but wish the stop point was more positive
Nice low-profile design. No posts sticking out of the wall to trip on or quadrants sticking out from the hinges pressing against the trim. Contact points are on the hinges themselves preventing damage to the trim and door. Installation was not too bad, just remove one hinge pin, insert pin through the stop set and reinsert the pin leaving it up at least 1/2". This allows you to separate and "clock" the two parts and test the swing. Once set, fully reset the pin. However, I was expecting a more positive stop. They have a lot of spring to them. I am building solid oak interior doors which have a lot of inertia. I had to adjust the stop point so that the doors are not open a full 90 degrees in order to prevent the knob from hitting the wall. I'm not sure if this flex is in the hinge plates or in the stop (or both). Additionally, the range of adjustment does not allow for a full 180 degree opening for my doors that open into a hallway. At best I'm getting about 150 degrees so the door is blocking the passage when open.

Door Stop Alternative - Geometry and Physics No Likey
Cool idea but I don't like the reality of how this works. Another reviewer mentioned that the door will continue to swing open after this product has engaged at the hinge pins. I didn't quite understand that until I installed a set of these on a hollow interior door. Firstly, when this product engages at the hinge pins, it "binds" against itself and that is how it essentially attempts to stop the door from rotating. Problem with the binding is that depending on the velocity of the door rotation, the product will actually elevate vertically above the door hinges. Don't like that from a functionality perspective. Sure, it's binding and stopping the rotation but it is flexing and doesn't actually stop the rotation on a point. So the previous reviewer wasn't lying when they said it will continue to swing open. Secondly, this product has many splines on the inside which is used to set the point of stopping. Seems nice for the adjustability but from a geometric stand point, spline represents a specific degree of arc of the door. With the product set up and you go to test how far away from the wall it is when the product is engaged, it may appear you have, say, 6 inches of space. You realign the product to utilize the next spline in an effort to get the door closer to the wall when opened. Then you realize, the product never engages because the door now hits the wall. A small adjustment at the most inward point of the angle equals a long adjustment at the further point of the angle. Hello, remember me? It's me Geometry here to smack you in your middle-aged adult face. Lastly, from a design point, this product binds at the hinges - it attempts to stop door rotation from the most inward point of the door/hinge angle. Think of it like using a car jack, if you have a short handle - you feel a lot of effort, whereas if you have a crazy long handle of something - you feel way less effort but you have to move more distance to jack the car up. What I am getting at is if the door has a stopper at the edge of it, the amount of force required to stop the door isn't too bad, whereas by stopping the door at the hinges requires way more force (read: binding of product) and transfers all that energy to the actual hinge screws in the door and doorframe. And that's Physics now smacking you in the face. So cool idea as an alternative to a doorstop on the wall/door but I will not use it. BTW Amazon sent me a returned item that was all greased up and had dirty fingerprints on it.

Unique, but still not ready for prime time.
I ordered these pin stops to prevent two doors from smacking into a cabinet within close proximity to the doors. Due to the strange angle, other pin stoppers were not possible and carpet prevented floor bumpers from being attached. These do solve the problem, but have problems of their own. As other reviewers have stated, there is quite a bit of flex when they do engage the door hinge. I would say a good 20 degrees or more of freedom, especially if pressed hard or the door swung with force. I would NOT recommend these to protect a wall from a door knob!!! The other major complaint is that each notch on the adjustment equals a large degree of door freedom. What I really needed was a notch in-between the two that would have been the sweet spot, instead I had to settle with not letting the door open as much as it could or allow the door to smack the cabinet. Overall, I think the design would work better built into the actual hinges. Attaching to the top allows too much vertical and rotational movement (think V bending) allowing far too much movement on the door. I may actually try to create a hybrid hinge by removing some of the actual hinge with a dremmel tool and installing the pin system in the middle of the hinge body.

Good but not Great!
There is not enough adjustability with these hinge pin stops. I have placed one on a bedroom and one on a bathroom door. Both doors need to open to almost 90° before hitting the wall. For some reason one of them on the bathroom will open to almost the perfect stopping spot but the one in the bedroom either hits the wall or stops way too far away from the wall. Just can't seem to get it right. I don't think the "teeth" are fine enough to enable small adjustments.

Not sure they work for UK internal door hinges?
I had high hopes for these, but they are too big for internal door hinges 0.6mn dia external with 0.4mm dia pin. It is more like something that works for our front door hinge if it was a pin hinge. Maybe not great for UK hinges unless they could scale it down? Also one was missing the clear plastic top washer.

Not a great product because it bites into the door frame. Would work fine possibly on a steel frame door
