Also is it hard to take the plane off the base?** A: The package is smaller because you have to put it together- it can come off the base easily **Q: No sawtooth engine detail on this Dreamliner? It’s one of many highly distinctive features of this plane.** A: From my model, I can confirm that the innovative, noise reducing chevrons, which are a distinctive characteristic of the 787, are not included on the engine nacelles. Not sure why. It’s a very small model, particularly the engines, but certainly modern casting techniques could permit them. These are nicely detailed models, but really they are too small to be very precise. **Q: do you have to paint it?** A: No. It comes fully assembled and beautifully painted. All you have to do is snap the stand together and snap it into the model. **Q: what are the measurements ?** A: Length= 6 inches.
