Shrill, with a clear looping glitch audible on some of the sounds, and generally annoying (not relaxing to sleep to). Tried a few of these digital sound aids to shut up the racket my inconsiderate neighbours make and they’re all really annoying and keep me up all night! The only things that seem to work are actual fans as they ‘cut’ the air and reduce noise better. Or moving, which I can't.

I purchased in January 2026 so I've had it about 6 months. I loved the first Hatch we received in 2021 but it only lasted a year. The newer Hatch that they sent me was not nearly as loud and....lasted about a year and stopped working again. Same thing with the last one we recieved. So, I've been on the hunt for a loud sound machine that doesbt require me to put 2 in the room to drown out our upstairs neighbors while we sleep. This one is great, VERY loud and has a nice amount of different sounds. Super easy to use, no app required like the Hatch. If youre looking for loud, this is the one. We purchased probably 7 and returned because they just weren't loud enough. It also doesn't feel cheap and light like most of the crap we're purchasing from China. Im very happy with this sound machine.
