Although a tad larger than the predecesor that it replaces, it fits the same terminal points, so easy to install. The movement detector will switch the water flow off as well as on, so you don't have to wait for the time-out. Working well so far.

I was looking for one of these for my workshop and assumed for under a hundred pounds I'd be looking at some cheap no-name product, getting a Triton for just 55 quid is fantastic. I wasn't expecting amazing things from some of the reviews and because it's powered from a normal socket (3Kw limit) but I'm totally blown away. It can run very hot water, too hot to put my hands under, even when it's just above freezing. Obviously flow is just a nice sprinkle at full heat but is perfect for cleaning my hands, cutlery and washing my cups and plates in my workshop. It's attractive and nicely made too. The supplied olive seals on plastic pipe fine. The only thing I would say is that rear entry with the water might not be possible with a compression elbow, a really neat solder elbow or stub might do it but there's not much room, no prob for me, I just went in from below. The fact they don't supply a blanking plug for the bottom water entry (they do for the electric) makes me think they dont intend this as a rear entry water unit

The quality of the device is rather good and not compared to other cheap chinese offers. It works quite smoothly and effectively. Not tested yet with very low temperature input water. Recommended.

Great device, fairly easy to install (especially if you already have the right electrical spur switch), and works a treat for anyone with only a cold water intake.

This water heater is great quality does the job well and should last well if installed correctly There are some cons however, this was installed in a toilet cubicle about 950mm room width and it does get accidentally triggered as the room is not very big, we found to hold a vertical flat hand in front of the sensor triggers the unit perfectly every time, just swiping randomly across the sensor is a bit hit and miss… The unit still gets touched however because some people are unable to figure out how to turn it on, could put a label on it with better instructions I guess There is no way to prevent users turning the heat up, the only way would be to cut the back of the control knob off behind the facia so that it doesn’t do anything but then I imagine that would void warranty… it’s a shame that it can’t be preset inside the unit and to avoid it being too hot for kids, old folks and those with special needs, Triton have improved the spray rose and it’s more direct flow into the basin rather than spread out like a shower, previous models were like a fine mist but this flows nicely, in spite of the above comments I would buy again especially at this competitive price!
