Does this measuring wheel work one direction only? Does it measure if I pull it holding the handle, instead of pushing.

If you roll backwards it counts down. Please feel free to buy.

If I am measuring from wall to wall, the arrow will not be at the point of start or finish. How much do I need to add if the wheel is flush against s?

If measuring wall to wall then add the diameter of the wheel to the total. If measuring line to wall then add the radius of the wheel to the total.

How do i measure in squarefeet?

Measure length in feet, measure width in feet and multiply together for square feet. A room that is 10 feet by 12 feet is 120 square feet.

Can you operate the reset button with your foot, or do you have to reach down and use your fingers?

You may be able to figure a way to use your foot, but it’s very lightweight. I just pick mine up and reset it.
