A well constructed item of furniture
The bookcase arrived within three days of placing the order. Well packaged in a strong cardboard carton. The item was exactly as described, well constructed, and finished to a high quality. Shelves can be adjusted to various positions. It will fit well with my other oak furniture, a satisfactory purchase.

Not bad.. A compact free-standing shelf unit which looks quite good
It works quite well but the shelf width is a little problematical. If you make 2 shelves reasonably wide to accommodate commonly encountered hardback books your are left with a very narrows third shelf. Just don't buy tall books.

Disappointed it did not arrive in perfect condition
Arrived with a crack right across the top. To be fair, the seller addressed the problem quickly and offered a partial refund. Still, I was rather disappointed that it didn't arrive in perfect condition. Looking at the quality and workmanship, it's evident that not all the surfaces align correctly and flush with each other. Hence, causing pressure in certain areas and resulting in a crack in the wood like this. The product looks decent, but I would not say it's premium.
