The local Aldi here had a similar unit on its special buys section this week for 15euro and we purchased it. The top funnel is fairly larger than the one on this unit here. But after waiting a good five minutes or more, still no significant steam in sight. My better half had to really push her face into the funnel & put a towel over just to feel something. Something must be wrong i thought and on looking at the bottom i see its rated at 75w..hmm..interesting. So, headed on here to Amazon, i see a good few options in this price range, some state 100w, others 120w, and this one after finding the actual model number and locating the technical spec sheets online, i see its rated at 130W. The actual model number on this is NTFS-618 for anyone who may want to look up specs and other details. Arrived in just 2 days. First impression, its feels a good bit smaller than the other unit. Right, setup, filled in bottled water till the max mark in the aluminium container, turned on at the 2 setting and within a minute or so could hear the water boiling & bubbling. Soon after a lot of steammm...ooo...now that's a good functioning device. Its only the first days using & we are thrilled with it. Can highly recommend. Only the time will tell how durable and its lasting power. Cons: none that i can think of right now, except maybe that the power cable is a bit too short & in our home setup i needed to use and extension lead. Pros: Nice size, small and easy to manage. Parts fit well into each other. And most importantly manufacturer rates it at 135w & it definitely steams quick & does the job it claims to do. A happy purchase here, now to return the other one back to the aldi unfortunately.

Great product and good value for money

This arrived today and have just used it for the first time. Needed it to clear mucus from the back of my nose causing me to cough constantly. It seems to be reasonably well made and has the facial and nasal attachments. Start on setting 2 and then when it makes a bubbling sound move to setting 1. The nasal attachment is badly designed and is a poor nasal fit. I find it’s best to remove the nasal attachment and just use the facial attachment which is just like putting your head over a bowl of hot water with a tea towel over your head. I’ll give it a few more goes to see if it’s doing the trick.

Just taken delivery of it and give it a go. I’m using it more for my sinuses to get a bit of moisture in them as this time of year with the heating on they get very dry. Put the water in turned it on to setting 2 and it was boiling and bubbling after about 2 minutes. Opened the steam valve and turned it down to power 1, it continues boiling water and creating steam fine on power setting 1 no problem. I used it for about 10 minutes and turned it off and continued breathing in the last of the steam for a couple of minutes. I didn’t want to run it out of water and run it dry as there is no auto shut off. So use on the side of caution as letting it run dry will no doubt break it. Anyway it is doing what I wanted it for and my sinuses do feel better to it.

Had to return it. Measuring cup was missing. This i would have looked over, but the facial fitment didn't lock in place.

Great price, definitely worth a try for problematic skin, reduces blemishes and spots

I bought this from my Christmas vouchers in 2023. I kept it in the box unused until today as I was using it for my vocal chords and my voice has fortunately been really healthy until last night, so I had no need to use it until now. I followed the instructions, let the water come to the boil, opened the steam valve and place my face near it, only for to hear a loud "pop" in my face that definitely gave me a good fright as my instinctual reaction was to assume it was going to explode and scald me, which fortunately it didn't. I suppose the safety features in the product worked, otherwise I would have been in a&e with scalded face. It says I cannot get my money back for this product as I have missed the return window, so I probably would have been better taking £20 and wiping my arse with it as I will have to go and buy another one that actually works. Useless product, faulty and waste of money for me

Appearance is good. Easy to use without any leakage problem. Good quality as well. This is a good rigid choice.

As per the price, it's worth. Need to wait for a while to get the steam.

The light doesnt get on. To heat 50 ‘l water it took 15 mins and no steam as high as needed. Its one of the worst steamer i have seen. I dont even want to give one rating
