Got this to use the FM radio on an MP3(yes, they're still useful) with an external bluetooth speaker. Works perfectly. Yes, it flops around since it plugs into a little round hole. So, when your phone or player says to plug in headphones to use the radio, this works and you can then use your bluetooth buds or speaker. Excellent value.

Which came over on the Ark as is evidenced by the fact that it plays tapes. The antenna fits and it works but the shaft that the little brass mounting plate is attached to is a little shorter than the original so it won't allow the antenna to be laid flat for storage. But otherwise it works for this old player.

The device I tried to use this with couldn't read the antenna.

Many small devices need the headphone wires for an antenna. This is a way to meet that need when you have built in speakers. Small enough to keep in the glove compartment.

The antenna works OK, but the issue is that the swivel part of the antenna is very lose and it tends to move on its own. Yes, I've tightened the screw as much as possible but it's still lose. It is what it is. It's still usable but it's also a little disappointing.

Normally I must keep headphones plugged in for the radio app to work. With this I have a more compact and powerful radio. As a HAM radio operator I have come to appreciate the value of a good antenna.

Re connecti.ng part is not the same is earphone connectors that locks and not fall out. It is a shame it could have been very useful if different connector was used.
