Motor noise? How do you resolve noise?

If you hear motor noise the pump is either defective or you do not have enough water in the fountain. Be sure the pump is completely submersed in water. Thank you.

Is it battery operated or works on power adapter? If power adapter; does it comes with it?

It has a power adapter already wired in just pull ouy of the box, fill woth water and plug in. Just make sure you keep pump in water or it will burn out.

How to adjust tube? tube that runs from the pump to the outer fountain seems to be too long and will not connect

I bought this a long time ago, but I believe the tube is plastic and can be cut easily.
