These avocados are very good. It is nice to have farm fresh avocados that are from the US. The taste is wonderful and they were packed very well. I love to use them for avocado and cheddar cheese sandwich with mayo on wheat bread. Also for dip or just as a side dish.

This was my third box of avocados. They arrive perfectly packaged. They are often hard the day they arrive and then they ripen perfectly one after the other over the next week. Just as if they were picked and packed in sequence. Thank you.

It’s so hard to get good avocado in rural Alaska, never had an issue with Ace ranch! Get them quick and are delicious

I was so excited to receive my package. The packing and presentation were excellent. I read the enclosed brochure completely, it was all very impressive. After digesting the literature, I decided that there were two avocados ripe and ready to eat, three “breaking” which I refrigerated as the directions indicated, and the rest firm and needing some time to ripen. I left the green unripened ones on a cool spot of countertop where I have successfully ripened all of my other produce. I thought it very thoughtful planning on behalf of the seller to ship in this way of staggered development. It allows one the ability to consume over time and not have the pressure or immediate need to eat them all at once to avoid spoilage resulting in waste. Well… the first brown one I tried had black and dark brown spots inside and mushy type substance around the seed. The second brown one was the most delicious avocado I’ve ever tasted. I ate the whole thing standing right there at the counter… I have no shame in admitting I inhaled it off of the cutting board- didn’t even wait for the eggs and toast I had planned to eat with it, much less a plate. I mean it was that scrumptious with a velvety yummy texture and a taste as fresh as the beautiful green color that the inside possessed. Absolutely, the BEST ever. The only other edible one was one that was breaking; it was in the fridge for about two days. The others didn’t ripen, they stayed mostly green and would develop a sunken soft type spot that when cut into would extrude slimy brown goo with black spots and furry mold on the inside. Please see the attached pic. I was very disappointed, especially after experiencing the prior deliciousness. I’m sad to be left chasing the dream of the awesome A+ avocado, and forced to continue making the hour and a half trek through the winter weather to Whole Foods; that’s the closest, fresh, organic produce having market in my area. 😔

I love that these are organic and I can get them delivered right to my door. They were in perfect condition when they arrived. They were all hard when they arrived and it was 5 - 8 days before they were ripe. They are very good quality, much better than what I can get at my local grocery. There were no brown spots on any of them when I cut them open. I had a few fresh but because there were more than I could eat before they became too ripe I cut and froze most of them. They freeze well and are just as good after being defrosted as they were fresh. I will definitely buy these again.

Yummy. arrived promptly and in good condition. I was so glad to receive these because I live in a rural community. While there are avocados here, they are sometimes not as tasty and are not organic. I would purchase again.

The description says 12-16. I got 11. One avocado may not seem like a big deal but it makes each avocado $3.63. and that’s not a good value. The Haas avocados from Costco are bigger, better and cheaper. i’m all for supporting small, local, organic farmers but don’t lie to me!!!

This is an update to our previous review. We have purchased avocados from the ACE ranch several time. While the first order took much longer than expected to arrive, and most of the avocados were ripe, they had a wonderful flavor and lasted well. The second double order came quick, avocados were nice, but not as great as the first time. The last order is why I lowered my review from 5 stars. First the avocados we received, while in good condition, were NOT Hass, but Fuerte variety. I have sent a message to the seller, but haven’t received a response. Our concern is twofold: if the ACE ranch grows only Hass, as advertised, then where do these come from and are they indeed organic? Also, we don’t like Fuerte nearly as much Hass - they don’t have the creaminess and intensity of flavor that Hass does.
