I tried a bite when it first arrived and it had that plastic taste. So I left it out for a few days and it made the taste a lot more pleasant. I don’t know how I would describe the taste but it was definitely very pleasant. I have tried some other edible chalk here on Amazon and the taste was like laundry detergent. For me, I only want the chalk for the crunch. I also crunch on cornstarch chunks. And this definitely satisfied the need for crunch. That being said I don’t swallow it and I wouldn’t suggest anyone to swallow it. It may be edible but i don’t think it’s necessarily digestible. But i will definitely be buying it again. The amount of sticks are good and a good size. A couple of the sticks were slightly broken upon arrival but that’s most likely just from the shipping.
