Why does the package say homeopathic and it does not contain any homeopathic ingredients?

The real reason it says homeopathic is because it doesn't contain any of the prescription drugs doctors like to prescribe. As such, they are required by the AMA to call it homeopathic. This remedy, however, works great. Do not, however, use it on cancerous lesions; ICHTHAMMOL IS NOT A TREATMENT FOR CANCER!

Isn't this black salve according to fda docs? it’s name used here is listed under black salve. fda’s do not use: black salve is dangerous.

I am not sure.  If the FDA says not to use it and they can prove the danger than I would not use it.  My dad used it when I was little to draw out infection.  It really worked and we had no problems with it.  Not sure if it still made the same.   I can't say I was to impressed with the Ichthammol Ointment as it didn't work quite the same as I remembered it, but that is when I was about 7 or 8 and I am 78 now.  .  If it is just listed un the name black salve I don't believe it is the same.  I had read some things on black salve also and wouldn't buy it.  This black salve was for removing cancer but I think If I can remember it destroyed  not only the cancer but the skin.  Please don't quote me as it has been a long time since I have looked for the (black salve).  I would research both as I don't believe they are the same product.  Sorry I can't be more helpful.

How long leave this on for I have glass in my feet and it didn’t get it out ?

If your feet still have a lot of glass in them that is causing you pain and infection I would go to your doctor and get it out.  As far as the ointment you would have to follow the directions.  The ointment  should help to a point but if you don't get rid of what is causing the infection you may continue to have an infection  and the problem and it may get worse.
