I bought the radio qyt kt-8900d . can i connect earpods, so i can listen thru earpods and dont share with other people in my car? link to buy it ?

I have not used the port, but on the back of the radio it has an ear phone jack.

Can it be programmed to sync display a&b so as you scroll theough chanels a displays freq and b displays name at the same time?

No it cannot be synced to display the frequency of channel a on channel b. But you can tune them on both.

Is the Retivis rt98 programming cable compatible?

Not sure, but this does come with a programming cable.

I'm looking at mounting this in my side by side. How durable is it? Is it water proof? What cable to you use to program?

This radio is not waterproof but the TYT TH8600 mobile radio is IP67 water resistant.
