We originally started with Pediasure SideKicks because my son never liked formula or regular milk after being breastfed, and it was one of the first alternatives he happily accepted once I went back to work.We eventually switched to Orgain because I personally preferred the ingredient list, and he transitioned without any trouble. In fact, he seems to like this one even more. Vanilla has been the clear favorite in our house.One thing I really appreciate is that I can dilute it with water as we're gradually working on weaning him from nighttime milk now that he's 2. He doesn't seem to mind at all, which has made that transition much easier.For our son, this has also seemed easier on his stomach than some of the other nutritional drinks we tried.My only real complaint is the packaging. Since we're gradually diluting it, I find myself opening multiple cartons overnight and pouring them into bottles. I wish there were a larger, resealable container because it would create less packaging waste and make preparing bottles much easier.

My very particular son loves this protein drink - so much so, no other one compares! He's very underweight and we are in a constant battle to get him to gain weight. Then of course, this became so difficult to get, even directly from Orgain as the shipping to Hawai'i was astronomical. The vanilla taste seems to be the only of it's kind because even the same drink in chocolate flavor just doesn't work. Other vanilla protein drinks fall short for my son as well (we've even tried the Orgain vanilla powder and even once washed out one of these containers to put the vanilla powder mix in to see if it's the box he's accustomed to but it is the drink itself). Definitely on the pricier end of protein drinks but if it is actually consumed, the price is worth it - moreso than fights a protein drink does taste good or half drank bottles. Really the only protein drink my particular son will drink the whole container of!
