I purchased these probiotics for my wife and my 84-year-old mother after having such an impressive personal experience with Renew Life myself. I’m currently taking the men’s version, and it has completely changed my digestive system for the better. My results gave me so much confidence in this brand that I ended up ordering six bottles of the 90-count version for them. I do not TYPICALLY write reviews, but I swore with everything I have that if I found something that worked for me, I would definitely share the information. I know that millions on women are suffering with BV, the embarrassment of having it, constantly thinking about it, and even going through bouts of depression because NOTHING is fixing the problem. I've dealt with BV for over 3 years, and when I tell you I've tried flagyl (which was just awful on my body, just to have the BV return), to all kinds of home remedies, that gave some relief, but didn't resolve my Problem. Now, I'm fully aware that every women's body is different, and what works for one, may not work for all. For example, no matter how good a product is, I cannot insert a capsule, or anything in my vagina...I found that it made matters worse. I could only take oral capsules, and hoped for the best. This is what I believe...if you've had BV for years, the BAD BACTERIA has taken over, and made your vagina a nest egg for bad bacteria to grow. That BAD BACTERIA is very STUBBORN, and it does not easily respond to treatment. In order to fight the BAD BACTERIA, you need a HEFTY DOSE OF GOOD BACTERIA (it's like a war going on down there). I've tried various dosages of CFU's. NOTHING touched me until I found the correct dosage that my body would respond to, and that's the 50 billion flora (not the 4, 15, 20...my body responded to 50 Billion). I believe the aggressive dosage of 50 billion is needed, because BV is just as aggressive, THAT'S WHY IT KEEPS COMING BACK. HERE'S MY TESTIMONY: After suffering from BV for over 3 years, I decided to try the 50 billion Ultimate flora, and YES IT WORKED FOR ME. I no longer have odor, discharge, or burning. I have a perfectly PH balanced vagina. I currently take 1 capsule in the morning (orally), and one at night. My intentions are to cut back to only one capsule eventually. On Aug 22, I ordered this in desperate need. I have a history of chronic BV and the antibiotics cause yeast infections, so for weeks I'm taking antibiotics back and forth for issues that just won't subside. Frustrated, I began doing research and found this product and another great product (SeroFlora 600mg Boric Acid vaginal suppositories). After reading all the great reviews, I ordered them both hoping for some relief as my first wedding anniversary was that coming weekend (in 5d) and I needed a rapid natural remedy. I got the product 2d later and I popped 2 caps twice a day for 3d and did the SeroFlora inserts nightly for 2 nights and by the end day both the yeast and BV had cleared up. Odor, itching and irritation was gone!! I am lactose intolerant and and freakishly sensitive to any dairy intake. I get severe stomach pains, bloating, gas, discomfort etc and read that taking a probiotic would help. I already had the Ultimate Flora, so everytime I knew I was exposed to dairy, I'd pop a capsule and would not have any symptoms that I described above. I also noticed my vaginal health was in tip top shape and recently received news from my OBGYN that the lesions they had been watching for cancer for 6yrs had cleared up completely!! 2wks ago I ran out of the Ultimate Flora and within days my energy was terrible, I began feeling under the weather (a cold finally caught up, I realized I hadn't been sick since I started taking it back in August, like I could tell something would be tryna come on but it never became full blown), the digestive pains came back, my vaginal health began to decline. I am using this product to help combat a serious recurring nightmarish episode of vaginal candida that is made worse by surgical menopause induced vaginal atrophy. I am only 37, and had a total hysterectomy at 31. HRT is necessary for my well being but hormones have never agreed with me and cause yeast that has become resistant to antifungals. Furthermore, I suffer from chronic constipation and gastritis, AND I had a lot of health problems in a 2-3 yr time period where I was on antibiotics constantly. Surgically induced menopause has wrecked my system and I have been spending a lot of time and money to adjust to my “new” body. Firstly, I think I need to take these twice a day. I feel like the absorption is inhibited by my gastritis medication. Also, the estrogen cream I desperately need for my vajayjay, is known to cause horrible yeast infections. I have to use this cream 2-3x a week. So I am going to try this twice daily route. I cannot give it 5 stars because I am still having chronic candida, however, this stuff is working wonders for my digestive system. I have purchased several bottles of these, but my system has been out of whack for almost 7 years. 7 years of my body enduring hormonal hell and antibiotic overload. This isn’t something that is going to just go away without a fight, especially not yeast that is resistant to daily diflucan. I think the first step is getting my digestive system moving regularly, and after 7 years, these are helping with that. Because of the severity of my case, and absorption problems, I may need more than one a day, at least for a while. So, I am going to try an AM and PM routine. Hopefully it will help. It would be WONDERFUL if it finally knocks this junk out but like I said, there’s a lot of damage and I need a big arsenal. For first time users, expect to be a bit gassy at first, but for me, it went away. Quite frankly, if it gets my gut moving unlike other probiotics, I do not care about gas and bloating! But that’s just me and we are all different. This is potent stuff, and it hasn’t “cured” me but it has definitely improved my poor digestive system and this alone has been a huge part of my recovery process. I wouldn’t be surprised if it starts helping other systems over time...because like I said, it took a long time to get like this.

literally the BEST probiotics ive ever taken. Ive tried all different types and ones that were supposed to be top rated on tiktok but nothing compares to these, i started with the 50 billion cfu then got the 90 billion --im a vitamin girly so these are the perfect add on, super easy to swallow, no foul smell, and has all the good probiotic strains you need as a female and for your gut, i take 2 a day (even though it only says one) i never had stomach issues and negative side effects. def recommend!

I have been on antibiotics for months and have been constantly battling yeast infections. Before that I had recurrent BV. Needless to say, I didn't have a happy vagina in quite a long time. I abhor Flagyl (it tastes awful and made my feet numb) and can't take Diflucan because of my liver, so I wanted to find alternative options. I have managed to keep the vaginal yeast and BV situations at bay (knock on wood) with the following regimen: I take one capsule by mouth every morning and then every three days or so (or if I'm feeling icky or itchy), I'll use RepHresh to make sure my pH is where it needs to be. Then I will (and this may sound a little weird) cut the tip of one of the ends of the capsule and put it into my vagina like a suppository. If I have any external itching, I use Clotrimazole (sold as athlete's foot or ring worm treatment - both are also fungi). I swear, I feel better almost immediately and I have a happy vagina again. I'm not anti-pharmaceutical or anything, but I really would rather not take drugs that have their inevitable side effects if I can avoid it. I also find having some pH paper on hand (I bought the Micro Essential Lab 3110M18EA 325 Hydrion Short Range pH Test Paper Dispenser, 3.0 - 5.5 pH) to keep an eye on those levels (BV raises your pH when your vagina is supposed to be more acidic - yeast doesn't). Don't buy those indicators that Monistat makes. They aren't terribly accurate according to my OB/GYN and they are really expensive. These probiotics are expensive, but totally worth it! Edit: I thought I should also mention, if you use it as a suppository, the capsule itself will soften but not fully disolve. I use my finger to take it out the next day because you probably shouldn't leave it in there. All or most of the probiotoic powder that was in the capsule should have come out on its own inside your vagina (hooray for "good" bacteria!).
