Darn Tough Women's Run No Show Tab Ultra-Lightweight Running Sock (Style 1047) -

Forgive their appearance in the photo, I had to dig them out of the laundry basket for this review. They're much prettier post-wash. I've had these for a few months now and I've literally thrown out all my other socks aside from some smartwool brand ones I got at the same time. I feel like I've never had good socks before. I picked these socks for day two. My feet were warm the whole time I was out in the literal arctic circle. I couldn't believe it. My feet were never wet, even when I was going through deep snow for hours. Literal miracle socks. As an added bonus, I didn't get rub blisters where ankle meets the top back of the shoe or on my baby toes while breaking in my hiking boots. I hadn't even been expecting for that to be solved. I've had these for a few months now and thought maybe given how well they work for winter, they might be too much for summer or gym use. I can confidently say after a few days at a new gym using them they work just as well in gym shoes in the summer. No rub, no over heating, no sweat. They're comfy af, too. I'm the type to be bothered when my tights are on too long because of how they just press into the foot after a while. Also toe lines on tights and a lot of socks really rub me the wrong way after a few hours. These socks don't have that line, so I've literally been able to fall asleep in these, which is a first for me with socks. I've not noticed any change in them with heavy use and probably improper washing from the first time I put them on. If you've made it to this review, you're probably trying to make sure they're worth it. Almost a whole Jackson bill for one pair of socks is pretty steep. I probably read every review on these before getting them and still felt hesitant. Unless you're used to some kind of outlandish luxury, these (and smartwool) are the best socks you've ever owned. I will also say that when I was looking into these socks before buying, I came across a lot of information about their company. Somehow having grown up in VT, I'd never heard of them, but I was legitimately heart warmed reading their learn more section. They seem to be legitimately locally produced in a sort-of small company that cares about their people, community, ethics and *really* stands behind their products. I'm more than happy to support that kind of thing in a soulless corporation takeover kind of world. They also seem to be a favorite of everyone who knows about them on reddit. If you know anything about reddit, that there was fanfare at all AND no dirt to be seen about the company speaks volumes. TLDR: Perform across the board in every season while being comfortable. In the highest range of 5 stars. Will be purchasing more when funds allow. A company you can feel good about supporting. Reddit approved. I want to be buried in these. Better than other socks! These socks might just be my new favorites! Just a note I have been a die hard fan of Bombas for quite sometime. However I was on vacation and stopped at this neat variety store where I saw these socks. I wondered how they held up and were they as comfortable as my favorite ones? So I figured I’d give them a shot. Whoa!! Lo and behold these socks felt heavenly from the moment I put them on! So soft and comfortable! I even put them to the ultimate test, a 12 hour shift (RN) in our busy ICU, and they passed with flying colors! They are breathable while offering supportive cushioning at the soles. They wash well & stay cushiony and soft. Highly recommend.

Fast shipping at a fair price. Item exactly as listed. They are nice soft socks that are light weight and easy to wear for my 8+ hours on my feet at work.

Another excellent Darn Tough sock. Works well with my running shoes, and it's a very attractive color. Has thin padding on the sole and over the toes.

I’ve tried so many different brand of socks to find ones that my shoes didn’t ’eat up’ off the heel of my foot. These socks win big! All day walking and not once did they creep down. Very comfortable and worth the money.

Love these socks. Their return policy for damages socks is amazing, and this style specifically is my favorite. They’re cushioned and comfy. Not too hot and not too cold. I am obsessed. I have one pair of every color.

The black colored socks as well as the orange tipped colored socks keep feet cool. The black do not seem to keep feet completely dry with extensive exercise and the fabric is more dense, fit tighter. The orange tipped design socks are more comfortable, not as tight with a smoother fabric. They also seem to keep feet more dry. This brand of socks are high priced but I will pay it in hopes for a more durable, long lasting, better performance sock as is claimed by the merchant. So far they wash and wear well.

Not exactly no show as ankle area is extended and extra poofy. Reinforced toe area and the inside of the socks feels thick and fluffy, like a layer of good cushion. Bought it for topical weather wear, hope it is breathable cause it does feel a little thick. Am UK 6 shoe size, bought size M and fits perfect, not over stretched

These are absolutely the best socks EVER! This is my third pair and yes they are expensive but they work. With every other socks I have bought they roll down on your foot but these do not budge. They are super comfortable and although they have Merino wool they are not too hot. Make sure you measure your foot to get the right size and when you do, you will not be disappointed. I have recommended to family and friends and they have also bought and highly recommend.

Darn Tough es mi marca favorita de calcetines. Son super cómodos, antimicrobiales por ser de lana, duran años (los míos fueron atacados por mis perritas así que tuve que comprar otros pero estaban intactos por años!) Y no apestan como los de poliester.

I wore these socks for a year of training and then during my Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in August 2025. My feet never smelled and I never got any blisters. I walked between 4-8 hours per day for 21 days. Now, 8 months later, they are holding up extremely well and are still my favorite sock to wear when going for walks. Thank you Darn Tough - best sock I've ever invested in!
