This flask retains the temperature for a long time like the previous one. Retains the temperature of hot water for more than ten hours. I use it for coffee/tea. Even though coffee/tea remains hot, I felt the taste changes after 4-5 hours(which is common for the stainless steel flasks). The flask is not suitable for storing milk. I tested it with cold water / juice and again the temperature retained for more than 12h. I did not notice a change in the taste maybe cuz I used ice cold water and juice. Overall I'm very much happy with the purchase.
