I love these glasses
This is my 4th pair! I love these glasses. Mine stated made in Italy. I wear them with contact lens riding horseback, boating and just riding my bike and shopping. Great UV PROTECTION! Well worth the money! The first 3 pairs were actdentally lost. No problems with the glasses ever. Just human malfunction! And I am really tough on my glasses.

we went through the what size would be perfect for my 14 year old son
Ok, we went through the what size would be perfect for my 14 year old son. Don't even look at juniors. The 50 mm were too small, returned. 55mm were the perfect size for a medium face, meaning the size of his hats is approx. 7-71/4. Ray-ban quality all the way.

Check it out in a store first
I went to Sunglass Hut first and asked about the different sizes. While there I discovered surprisingly that 55 mm fit my face better than 58 mm, so I went ahead and bought the 55 mm from Amazon. If you're worried about it being fake due to the low price, then don't be. I ordered the Gold G-15XLT Lens Aviators in the 55 mm size. They were shipped quickly. I went down a checklist I found online to check if they were fake. They passed the test. They scream of quality, not to mention that they look great as well. Make sure you try them on in a store first so you can know what size to get.

Finally! The right sunglasses, the right size, the right price
Back in the 60's, I wore what turned out to be B&L Outdoorsman sunglasses. I recall finding them at the beach and had 'em for years. I liked the brow bar from a style POV but it was a nuisance to keep clean. After they broke, I moved on to other styles including the 52mm Randolph Engineering pilot's sunglasses. Recently, while browsing Amazon, I saw the Ray Ban Aviators and Outdoorsman II's. I assumed I'd want the 58mm sizes of them but wasn't sure which model I wanted so I ordered both via my Prime account. The Outdoorsman had a brown brow bar and that looked wrong to me (the originals had a translucent white bar). But both the Aviators and Outdoorsman looked wrong on me. Bigger than I like (and I'm 6', 180#) and sent them back the next day.A few days ago, I was wandering our local mall and they had the 55mm versions of the Aviators but for full MSRP. However, they fit me the way I think this style should look, smaller than larger. The larger versions you see on YT videos make people look bug eyed. While they usually say the 55mm size is too small, to me they look just right on most people.Anyway, these arrived today in the classic gold frame and G-15 lens (the *only* acceptable color combo in my world) and they fit just the way I'd hoped. They seem well made and while the prices have skyrocketed on these (and everything else Luxottica owns), Amazon's price is great. Unless you have a very large, round face, consider the 55mm versions of these for the correct look. IMO, of course. YMMV. And if you decide to keep them and hate the cheesy lens logo, it comes off in a few moments using the edge of a penny or other small coin. Let the coin do the work and don't press hard. This is for GLASS lenses only.

Ray Van Sun Glasses Gold Frame
It got nothing to do with your guys the very first day that I sarted to wear the glasses I ended up loosing them and the bad part was that I had use the frame for prescription glasses and it ended up costing me $463.00. I had to buy another Ray Van Sun Glasses and just because I love Ray Vans.

Great fit
These were a great fit on me (size 55). I'm rather petite and actually own the bigger size which completely overwhelmed my face. I'm only 5' and these were perfect on me.I was reluctant on the authenticity of these but did my research of the obvious signs of fake Ray Bans. These pair seemed to be the real deal.
