No regrets! 10/14/2023I'm very impressed with the initial quality which exceeds the slide cover wallets I've been using. The magnetic cover is a huge improvement over the slide cover because after a few weeks the slide covers wear out and begin falling open, at which time, starts the game of putting tape on them to create some friction and to make the slide fit tighter.The side buttons are much more responsive as well since they are slightly raised vs flush. No more struggling to push the buttons with my thumbnail. (There's nothing more embarrassing then accidentally playing an audio during a meeting and not being able to shut it off or even turn down the volume cuz you can't push the buttons!) Also, all ports and buttons line up perfectly.The leather texture on the magnetic cover is softer, easier and safer to hold the phone vs the slides smooth plastic cover.Vena's magnetic wallet comes in one piece and is easy to install vs the 3 piece slide cover wallet which always ends up breaking from installing or uninstalling when cleaning the phone.The credit card slot holds 3 cards very nicely and securely vs 2 on my prior wallet case. Thankfully there is not an opening on the backside either where my cards would often stick to the underside of the slide cover when opened, which caused a struggle to retrieve them. There is actually a slot on Vena's wallet to push the credit cards forwards instead of the frequent aggravation of not being able to gracefully pull them out if you have nails.Suprisingly, the case is actually a bit thinner then my previous wallet case. However, since my phone itself is heavy, I can't say if one case feels heavier then the other.The NFC works with both my prior wallets and this one, BUT, only this one does the wireless charger work with. The magnetic cover needs to be open though.Also, the magnetic cover doubles as a kick stand to hold the phone up on its side or even on end. It also seems plenty strong to hold the phone on my new magnetic phone holders in my vehicles. I would have never used one with the slide cover cuz it would have popped the cover off every time. (Plus the slide is not magnetic but magnetic stickers are available to be applied.) Instead, I struggled with a retractable clip for the slide wallet. The slide cover itself just has no other functions.The only disadvantage I've discovered is I am a pop socket user and cannot find a feasible way to use one.Overall, I do have to say my slide cover wallets protected my phone through multiple drops, though it may have left me picking up my credit cards and all three pieces of the cover itself, it never failed me. It is so very handy. She still has it on her Galaxy S8+. I had it on mine until the back flap finally wore out after years of rugged use. I was bummed when I couldn't find a replacement still available for the S8+. I now have the S21 Ultra. I was so pleased to find it available for the model.The magnetic back is terrific, as it allows me to attach the phone on the magnetic mounts in our car without the need for a separate and unsightly piece of steel stuck to the back of the phone. (In years of use, I have never had a card stripe demagnetized as some have claimed. But all my cards have chips now, so I wouldn't care anyway.) The case makes the large phone much easier to hold. Although it makes the large phone larger this is not an issue with me (and I have small hands). It will fit three cards in the wallet area (with one being an especially thick card), plus one bill (folded in thirds). The design for removing the cards is brilliant. Even though the cards are held securely and will not fall out unintentionally, there is no fumbling or difficulty in removing or inserting cards. Lifting the edge to access the cards can be occasionally difficult, but once you are used to it then it isn't a problem at all. If the designers had added any kind of latch or lift then it would be obvious it was a wallet case. I prefer it not looking like a wallet case. The stand functionality is great, as it allows for several different landscape viewing angles. It even will hold your phone upright (portrait). We have each dropped our phone several times, from waist height or higher, onto a solid surface without issue. The case buttons are easy to feel and operate the phone without issue. The front edge is high enough that it prevents the front glass from touching a flat surface when laid face down. The rear cameras are recessed deeply for protection. The speaker and sensor holes are large enough to not hamper their function. The USB C hole is large enough to accept attachment to the largest cord end that I've ever encountered. It is a great case.PS. We have never used one with this case, but it should accommodate a screen protector without issue. However, if laid face down, the bevel might not be quite high enough to keep the screen protector from touching a flat surface. I noticed that it was heavy when I first put it on, but I got used to it quickly and it's no big deal. There's a soft, flexible "tab" at the edge of the flap you open. I do wish that was made a little differently so I could flip it open with one thumb, rather than grabbing it with thumb and finger. I'm not sure if that could happen without weakening the magnet that keeps it closed, though, and I wouldn't make that trade. I like that it isn't leather because that means the card pockets won't stretch over time, which happened to my last case. There isn't a cover for the camera, but I'd say there's a 2-3mm lip. I can't speak to durability because I've only had it for about a month, but it feels durable to me.
