Loving the new life given to my original X100 with this lens hood. It installed easily, but you have to pay attention to the instruction manual that it sends. Many people in the reviews said that they couldn't get it to line up horizontally, but you can .. you just have to use the red rubber ring that they supply in the box with it. Once you do that, it makes a nice seal that you can fine tune while still having it snug. There's no issue with having the hood line up horizontally. I'm betting that those folks missed the bit about the lens ring..

This is a great lense hood for the X100VI. Installation was effortless if you follow the included instructions and alignment is always straight if instructions are followed. Looks to be of good quality as well.

Well designed

The Haoge Square Metal Lens Hood for Fuji X100VI may look the part, but when it comes to fit, it's more frustration than function. The sleek, minimalist design promises a snug match for Fuji’s elegant X100VI but in reality, it wobbles, misaligns, and feels like it was built for an entirely different camera. Attaching it can feel like solving a mechanical puzzle with missing pieces, and once "secured," the hood often sits crooked or loose, an infuriating detail on an otherwise precision-focused camera. For photographers who value alignment and stability, this is a major letdown. Stylish in photos but sloppy in practice, this hood turns a premium camera into a shaky DIY project. Fuji shooters deserve better than a fashion accessory that doesn’t even fit the frame.

The square metal lens hood looks great on my Fujifilm X100VI and does exactly what it’s supposed to — cuts glare, adds a bit of protection, and gives the camera a nice classic look. It feels sturdy and well-made, and it fits perfectly without interfering with the viewfinder. It also came with a little button cap for the shutter clicker, which was a nice touch, but unfortunately that fell off within a week. Not a big deal for me since I mainly got it for the hood, but worth mentioning. Overall, would still recommend for the hood itself — it’s a solid upgrade.

Works as advertised to give you that Leica look. Does it make a big difference? Probably.. the best use of this is to protect your single, non-replaceable lens on your shockingly expensive X100VI!!! I replaced the bezel ring with a bezel UV filter and this was not compatible with it.. I had to find a thread-in filter to use, which works perfectly. (49mm Tiffen GlimmerGlass for that extra dreamy look). Overall.. really like it. Worth every penny, it's easy to install, strong as an ox, protects everything. Perfect size/match.

I bought a cheaper, plastic version of this that lasted about six months before it cracked. This is what I should have purchased to begin with. Solid construction, and I was able to attach my UV filter easily. No need to buy an adapter for your filter if you buy this. The cap... I've heard several say the felt inside wears away, but my sense is if you place it gently, it will last. So it's nice to have a lens cap again.

I used this for my Fujifilm x100v. Followed the video on Amazon to install (minus the white gloves). No issues getting the correct alignment. Cap fits nicely over hood. Cannot attest to durability since I just got it. Now my overpriced x100v is one more step to full hipster awesomeness - sarcasm aside, it works great for the camera, and I really am enjoying the x100v (and I don't even have TikTok).

This is such great complement to my X100F and the build quality is really old and the colors match well. I love it

works perfectly for my x100vi, I do find you need to filter the finally hood onto the adapter a few times to find the spot where its tight enough and lines up perfectly, I can see how some people don't get it cause they try once and then become angry, but if you just take a extra minute you'll have it setup fine.

Perfect fit

First of all, the product is of excellent quality and the silver matches very well with my silver X100VI. If Haoge made a X100VI specific hood I'll definitely purchase. The reason I did not keep the product is because after mounting, there is a 1mm gap between the base of the hood's mount, and the camera's mount. See attached photo. I also own a Haoge filter mount and it worked perfectly for X100VI and the connection points are flush in a line, without a gap. I've decided just to stick with filter for now and see if haoge will make a X
