Gleam is a classic style marine spar varnish formulated to withstand the rigors of life at sea, which also makes it ideal for use as a wood varnish and outdoor wood sealer for all of your outdoor wood furniture, bar tops, tiki bars, picnic tables, patio tables, Adirondack chairs, antique wooden truck beds and more. This high-quality tung oil and phenolic resin formula features added UV inhibitors that provide lasting beauty, and a durable finish that expands and contracts with seasonal temperature changes to prevent chipping, ing, and peeling. Use Gleam on interior and exterior wood for a tough, waterproof finish that won't fade. Gleam 2.0 has an improved formula that flows easier, won’t leave brush marks, and has better overcoating & cure times, making it easy to get great results. Each coat provides medium build with excellent flow-out. You'll love how it flows off the brush and self-levels, leaving a smooth durable surface. Gleam gives all wood surfaces a radiant, transparent, warm amber hue in gloss or satin (matte) finish. For a high gloss varnish finish, apply 4-6 coats of Gleam Gloss. The satin finish has provided my salon cabinetry an absolutely lovely finish. As with any project of this nature, most of the work is preparing the surface for the varnish. It is important, however that the application is done with quality brushes, rollers, and other tools. Take your time do it right and you will have the same results. Worth every penny that you spend on this!

Was a few days later receiving than expected delivery date. No instructions on can, but there is some online. Brush product on, and it does show brush strokes. Used lacquer thinner. Thinned 50/50. Overall I am very happy with this product, way better than other products out there. Used to refinish seats in Lund boat. Looks good and seems to protect wood well. Would look great if I sprayed it.

I selected the satin version of of the varnish and it has not disappointed me at all. Total Boat rocks. The satin finish has provided my salon cabinetry an absolutely lovely finish. As with any project of this nature, most of the work is preparing the surface for the varnish. It is important, however that the application is done with quality brushes, rollers, and other tools. Take your time do it right and you will have the same results. Worth every penny that you spend on this!

### ⭐⭐⭐ NOT the same as what I was expecting

I bought this product because their former product "TotalBoat Marine Wood Finish" is not available and Amazon doesn't know if it will be available again. We really liked that product!!! What I bought to re-finish the surfaces I finished previously with TotalBoat Marine Wood Finish - now (GLEAM spar varnish) is NOT the same. I thought Amazon was steering me to a reasonable substitute, a replacement , or maybe an improvement. I needed to get the job done, so I bought this Gleam stuff - but I doubt that my client will be happy with it. I am not. It does NOT look the same or even similar. Why was the original "TotalBoat Marine Wood Finish " discontinued?? It was great.
