The Most Beautiful Mandalas EVER
I didn't like mandalas, until I saw the beautiful art of Jenny Luan. I am going to show you some of the pictures that I colored already. I did add a border to one of them. The best picture in this book is not a mandala but a breathtaking drawing of Jesus and a cross. Don't miss it.

If you love flowers and mandalas, you will love this book.
I have recently received my books and this is one of them. I love her designs. The cover is very pretty and colorful. The designs draws your attention and leaves you wanting more. The back cover shows 6 smaller designs of some that are in the book, so you get an idea of what is inside. The book has 36 abstract doodle style Mandala flowers. These are original hand-drawn and feature bees, butterflies, ladybugs, dragonflies, koi, hearts, mushrooms, rats and rabbits, to name a few.The book measures 8.5 x 11 inches. Perfect size for most standard printers, which allows for photocopying to color again. Inside, she has a page on her "personal favorite coloring tools". The mandalas are good printing quality. No fuzzy images. They cover about 3/4 of the page. At the bottom of each page is a spot for the colorist to put their own name, as well as the book and artist name are written. This is great for many of us who share on Facebook and other social media. They are printed on only one side of that paper, which allows for framing and protecting the next page from any bleed through, had it been on the back side. The paper feels about medium weight. This is great for crayons, colored pencils, alchohol markers and some gel pens. Waterbased markers, watercolors and some other gel pens may bleed through, so make sure to put some other paper underneath to avoid bleed through onto the next page. There is one blank page provided at the back of the book to help for this purpose. I personally would avoid watercolors and waterbased markers as they are likely to cause wrinkling and pilling of the paper. Since watercolors are my favorite medium, I always print mine out on cardstock, which eliminates this problem. I also never color in my books, because I like to color the pictures more than once. The images are all very cute and detailed. Some pages are quite intricate. So for some with hand pain, or vision issues, you may need to take breaks. This is what I always do anyways, so I can enjoy the detailed pages, with minimum hand cramping or vision blurrines. I find that the designs are great for all ages and skill levels. Those that love flowers and mandalas will love this book.

Makes me want to color all day long!
I was given a sample pack of pages from this book to color. These are not your typical mandala coloring pages. Each page has beautifully drawn flowers and insects in a mandala pattern. Some are more intricate than others but I still enjoyed coloring then. I found it hard to stop before I was done because I got really into the artwork. Jenny is an independent artist and I like supporting these artists and their beautiful artwork. I recommend this book and can tell you that you will be mesmerized by Jenny's designs. I am attaching some of the pictures that I have colored from this book. Happy Coloring!
O**!
The text at the bottom of each page ruins the effect!
Having the artist's name and a space for the colorist's name ruins the effect of having created a nice mandala. I see on the back cover where they show some of the items inside, they don't include the text. The mandalas are lovely but I didn't buy it because of the text.
