It works great! As far as I can tell it is a perfect replica of the original part for the Schwinn bike trailer. It is OBVIOUSLY not designed for bikes with quick disconnects on there wheels so don't expect it to work with out some tinkering. It fit fine on my wife's Schwinn beach cruiser. (even with the wheel hub mounted kick stand) It wont fit my 29er without modification. (wouldn't put it on anyway. Don't want anything extra on my hub when on the trail) I would definitely recommend it! But make sure it will work on your bike before buying it.

Perect product. Does just what it says. We purchased the Schwinn Joyrider. It already comes with 1 coupler attachment, but having an extra one so that my wife and I can both have one on our own bikes makes family bike rides much easier. My wife will ride until she gets tired of pulling the extra weight, and then we'll pull over for a pit stop, pop the pin out, unhook the trailer, and hook it up to my bike. It takes no more than 60sec. - seriously. We leave the coupler on our bikes at all times. We do leave the pin with the trailer instead of on the bike - that way, whichever bike is not towing the trailer won't be subjected to a ratteling pin. We just keep the extra pin in the house in case the original is ever lost.

I bought a used In-Step double bike stroller, but it didn't come with this coupler. I was excited to find it here on Amazon, but was also nervous it wouldn't work with my smaller bike (I am a short lady =) ). It works perfectly!!!! My 3 year old loves to go riding with me and her brothers. It was so easy to install that my 10 year-old did it all by himself; except to get the bolt as tight as I wanted. So glad we purchased this! We will purchase another one when my husband gets a bike.

This is perfect quality, perfect piece that attaches your matching type of trailer to your bike. We have both an in-step/schwinn trailer, and a Burley trailer, and I have both this hitch and a burley hitch on my bike. The Burley system is overall better, the pin in the Schwinn system isn't permanently tied to the trailer, which means at some point you could lose that piece, due to small child grabbing things. Also, this hitch is two-pieces, where as the Burley is a single piece. However, if you have a In-Step/Schwinn trailer, then this is what you need. I wish there was a universal / combo trailer hitch, so I only needed one thing mounted to my bike.

Pretty easy to install and thus far has been working fine. I guess I won't know until my trailer falls off the bike, but it is more likely that I will give out before this connector does.

We have the Instep kids caravan, and have loved taking our girls out on bike rides. The only problem was that it was attached to my husband's bike, so we couldn't go out on rides unless he was home since removing and switching the hardware was not a quick process. This adapter has made my life much easier, and we can both go on bike riding adventures now with the kids whenever we want! I just went on a ride with them yesterday, and attaching the caravan to the adapter was easy and quick. The adapter comes with an extra pin to secure the caravan, so we leave 1 full adapter and pin on each bike, so it's easy to switch from bicycle to bicycle. If you have a kid towing chariot for you bicycle, an extra adapter is a must in my opinion. This one fits the bill! I recommend!

I am extremely happy that this product is available! I purchased the instep bike trailer so that our family can go on bike rides and our youngest son can be included even though he is too young to ride a bike. This coupler is exactly the same as the one that comes with the trailer. This one will go onto my husband's bike so that we can easily switch the trailer to either bicycle without need to remove the coupler from one bike and put it on the other. It will make it much better. This way I can pull the trailer part of the way and my husband can pull it the other half. It is certainly worth the small cost for the convienece that this provides!

It was super easy to install, fit prefect and was what we needed for our bike trailer. Definitely would buy again if we need one. We got the trailer from a friend but she forgot to give us that piece. She realized after when she trashed the bikes it was still on it. We just guessed and ordered this one and it works amazing and fits like a glove.

It does what it's supposed to do. A bit expensive in my opinion. But I'll buy it again if I need to because it's strong and fits my bike 100%. Edit: had a little issue (I misplaced one of the pieces) and contacted support. They were responsive, kind and went above and beyond. I am so positively shocked by how great our conversation went... 100% recommended.

I needed to buy only this part for my pull-behind for my kid after my bike was stolen and this attachment was of course still on the bike. I was so pleased to see that it was readily available on Amazon, and for a good price. So far it has been keeping with my expectations, so I don't see any reason to not give it the full 5 stars. Its not like I expected it to come with a free bike or anything...
