This turned out to be an exact replacement for the one in my 1980s vintage rattan swivel rocker chair. Same manufacturer - Leggett & Platt. Maybe it will last another 40 years. 🙂

This turned out to be the exact replacement for the one that failed. Same manufacturer, size, hole placement, etc. To be fair, the old one did last six years with a now 83 year old, 260 lb. man. On the old one the “center” third spring popped out, and one ball bearing fell out as well. Hopefully, this new one lasts another six years for him.

This unit fit the chair I was repairing that had a broken spring. Originally wanted to just replace the spring. They are hard to find and also looked like changing just the spring would be difficult. This unit was ready to go and had three springs intsead of two (think back spring on mine had been missing for a long time). Wasn't much more money to replace entire part then trying to replace broken spring and add missing one.

Got this to replace the one on my nearly 40 yr old rattan rocker. This is heavy duty and will last me till my years are over. You won't go wrong with this particular model. Very well made. It's much better quality than the one the rocker came with. Very easy installation. My rattan rocker is better than new now !!

Just what I was needing and fitted perfectly.

This unit was exactly as advertised. I used to to successfully repair my chair. The repair was easy and it is as good as new.

One of the springs snapped on our Rattan Swivel Rocker chairs ( bought in the late 1970s) . So pleased to be able to replace the spring mechanism. Fairly easy to replace, just took the seat off and swapped them over. Adjusted a little to get the chair how I wanted. Good as new. I've now ordered a second mechanism for my other chair.

Bought a swivel chair and found the swivel had gone fortunately found them here and they are a perfect match all fitted and are great didn’t hav to make new holes chair now upholstered and back in use
