Would it then be removable years later?** A: This particular product does not hold a candle to genuine 3M VHB, buy a roll from Grainger if you want to install a license plate bracket. Contact adhesive for carpet installation is better than the roll I purchased from this seller, and I hope Amazon cracks down on these counterfeit S&I products before someone is injured. **Q: will it hold a headliner with the summer heat?** A: I have not applied this tape for headliner, but from my experience of its usage I don’t think it can hold it. You need more sticky stuff than that. **Q: Will this work well for vent visors? Visor is still in good shape just needs new tape.** A: Yes, this tape works great on vent visors for vehicle windows. Just make sure the area is cleaned with rubbing alcohol so it will stick better.
