Of the 32GB capacity, how much space is available for installing apps and data?

Not enough HD space to support updates to Windows 10 (the most recent OS update asked for 17 GB free space, I didn't even have the 12 GB after installing Office 365). Even after selecting an attached USB flash drive for future app installs, Office 365 installed on G: despite the "future apps" setting. Plus these days for non-enterprise users Office 365 installs all Office apps (except project, publisher). If you want plug-n-play, buy at least 64 GB HD, not the base level 32 GB!!

Can you connect to streaming video services directly or are they pre-installed like on smart tvs?
